Invaih nods. "We need more information. Too many things have happened and we still have no clue whatsoever as to what is going on, and I don't like this one bit. We need to find what connects all the past events."
Archimides lands atop the tent, although his hearing is not nearly as good as his eyesight, he is able to hear through the thin barrier that serves as the roof for the tent.
"-- here yet? What do you mean they're not here yet, we can't have this thing here forever!"
A man bursts out of the west side of the tent, followed by two figures similar to the ones you saw earlier at the altar.
"I-I'm sorry but--" One of the men stammers but is cut short as the horned one holds up his hand for silence.
"Drop it" he snaps, the other robed man nods as the air shimmers before them, and reveals a large cage 15 by 15 feet. The figure inside is wreathed in shadows and unmistakably large, but you cannot pick out its form. The only thing you notice is two glowing circles, eyes, similar to the ones of the boar you saw at the bandit hideout.
"This thing is dangerous," the horned one pauses for a moment, "Powerful. Travok needs it. How far away are they?"
"About an hour's travel from the west sir!" one of the robed men stands up straight and at attention.
You then hear footsteps, not Archimedes, but Artin. You turn around to see one of the robed men standing behind you, open mouthed, "Eh- uhh...", he stammers, lifting a finger in your direction.
Dari curses under his breath, then whispers "Take him out. I will slow their progress if they notice." He proceeds to use mold earth to form a small trench in the gap between the bushes. If he finishes that with time remaining, he will make the ground in front of it difficult terrain with the same spell. If the enemy notices and approaches, he stands up once they are close and draws his spear.

Reminding himself to be more alert, and feeling ashamed to have been blindsided twice in a day, Invaih kicks off the tree he's leaning on, swiftly moving behind the robed man while drawing Crescent, and attempts to grapple him (20). Placing Crescent right across his neck, and one gloved hand over his mouth, he whispers "Shhhh," in a cold, yet soft tone. "You make a noise, you die. You want to live, you come along for a bit, and if you cooperate, we'll let you go when we're at a safe distance."

Erik opened his eyes as he finished his communication with Archimedes. He was about to relay what he had heard to his companions, when he noticed the intruder, and Invaih trying to restrain him.
He looked into the Intruders eyes and stood before him. "Be silent and don't move" he Whispered, projecting his will into his voice.

Then he whispers to the group. "We need to be more careful in hiding". He takes the time to Stealth, and use guidance on himself to be more quiet. He will also cast it on anyone who tries to use stealth to aid them.
Erik was mildly surprised by his success at stopping the young man, but he kept the reaction off his face. "You are going to turn around and go home without telling anyone of what you saw..." He spoke aloud in a soft soothing voice, infusing his words with the suggestion spell, waving his index and middle finger laterally across the man's line of sight.

Invaih relaxes as the man turns to leave. He sneaks closer to Erik to whisper "I don't know how you did it, but it matters not. I appreciate the help Erik... Will he return?".
"We are a team." Erik commented softly and clapped Invaih on the shoulder with a smile. "If we don't help each other no one will. Magic can have a powerful influence on the weak minded. I will have to rest to pull off any more big spells like the fireball or that suggestion spell...but I still have plenty of tricks up my sleeve." Erik looked after the man. "No. I can hold the spell for about 8 hours, unless I'm severely wounded...but as long as I maintain the spell he won't be back."
"Well, I have some... defenses in place." Dari says, "Maybe we could have them come to us? If so, we could set up a few more defenses to keep them away from us. I believe in us, that we can take them out."

Erik returned his attention to Invaih, and he nodded, not realizing he had forgotten to tell his companions. "They have something they are afraid of...but they can't get rid of it..." Erik quickly relayed everything Archimedes had over heard.

At this point, everyone has basically stopped talking. As the horned one walks into the tent, the other two cultists (At this point you have now registered the fact that these guys are part of a cult) who were talking to him earlier, follow him. "Leave me." the horned one commands, the two cultists obediently walk to the center of camp and sit down. The camp has grown quiet, you don't hear anything interesting, mostly just idle conversation.

But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."
"The camp is growing quiet...perhaps the cultists will be asleep soon?" Erik suggests. "Those of us who are better at stealth could sneak into the camp and do some spying..."
Invaih chokes down a chuckle. "That would be convenient. But we don't have the time... They're expecting others in an hour. We can either go west and hope to surprise these other before coming here, again hoping they go to bed... Or we can take care of them and lay an ambush... Or take care of them and leave."
Artin is nervous. His companions have proven their mettle in combat time and again, but this is a very large group of unknown power they are facing. Part of his just wants to go back home to his burrow, and tend to his garden.
Invaih nods. "We need more information. Too many things have happened and we still have no clue whatsoever as to what is going on, and I don't like this one bit. We need to find what connects all the past events."
