@daemyar - you sneak across the hall, picking your way carefully and being careful to avoid the kobold heads. You make your way to the door and kneel down, looking over your shoulder to make sure the enemy is still unaware of your presence - they are. Taking a look at the door, you see that it is locked and some sort of key is required. You snort to yourself mentally and carefully take out your thieves' tools. You are extra careful here to ensure you don't cause any noise and are able to hear the tell-tale "snick" as the bolt clicks back.
Unfortunately, the sound also alerts the enemy at the other end of the hall and they pop their head up over the barricade, shortbows scanning, actively searching for the origin of the noise. You press your body against the door to try to avoid being discovered. N - 10 SF - 9 G2 - 8
Daemyar, they don't see you and while the goblins are fine to get back to waiting, you know the paranoid mind of a hobgoblin won't be satisfied with that. Sure enough, you hear a low raspy voice speak in choppy goblin, "You, Shit Face, go see." You hear a thin, shaky voice reply, "Y-y-yes N-noxxus." You hear the sound of a sword being drawn and some other noises - you suspect that a goblin has crossed the barricade. You have a few seconds before they see you.
The rest of you are near the first barricade still. Let me know if you want to move from that area and if so, describe how you are traveling (slow, silent, etc...)
(( I can imagine that Ithelion would have had Elosa moving cautiosly to keep Daemyar in sight, but not the goblins behind the barrier. Ithelion herself would have remained at the first barrier, eyes closed, watching thought Elosa's eyes, hearing through her ears. She would quietly narrate what she is seeing, not hearing what her companions were saying...ready to pull Elosa back at the first sign of trouble... ))

She summons Elosa back then clambers over the barrier, and takes cover, trying to remain unseen and peering down the corridor to the south, while asking elosa to do the same. She turns to Shere, "Perhaps tell him what we are doing..."

The goblin that has been sent to investigate looks at the door as it comes even with it (just after Daemyar has closed it) and creeps a little closer. Elosa at this point, can also see the goblin if she is still where indicated on the drawing in the OOC.
The goblin steps forward towards the door.....
Daemyar, as you open the door and slip in quietly, you hear nervous clamoring behind you and a few groans. There is some whimpering and some yips happening. You pay it no mind as you can almost feel the goblin on the other side of the door......
The goblin cocks its head, it hears some noise behind the door and steps forward a bit more, spear at the ready, held in front of it. It inches closer....
Daemyar's brow is soaked with sweat as he presses against the door, foot steady near the bottom, wiry forearms holding the latch in place...you look to the side warily and see several decapitated, small bodies - kobolds from the smell and look - along with a couple chained humanoids and a small, dark cage further back - focus! - you hear the scratching sound of the goblins claws on the rock.....
The goblin creeps further towards the door and reaches the spear out towards the door....
Daemyar holds....waiting....waiting....and he hears a clink against the door! Holding........
The goblin pushes in an exploratory way and it doesn't budge. Not convinced, it reaches out a slender but muscular arm towards the latch and pushes......
Daemyar holds with all his might - its expecting a locked door! you think to yourself. Heart beating rapidly, one hand on the door, he puts the dagger in his mouth and braces the door with two hands, the blade nicking the corners of his mouth.....hold! hold! hold.......
Daemyar and the goblin need to roll contested strength checks! Goblin is pushing, Daemyar is trying to keep it closed as if it's locked!
Daemyar attempts to creep into the door west of him, investigating what’s causing the noise.
