This time, Balassar's strike connects; the duergar is looking in bad shape.
The duergar disappears. You hear a spoken word that you do not understand, and then footsteps leading south. The kobolds also run south as fast as they can.
You can all take your turn now; you are still in initiative.
Alton shrugs, "I don't think he could pilot the thing, but if you want to go check we can. The more likely thing is that he is probably trying to escape. Not like we could see him if he was going that way." Alton will just hold and see what Balassar wants to go and do.

Balassar, your scimitar slices into Kobold One, killing it instantly. You notice another three kobolds just ahead of you in what seems to be a large cavern opening to the south.
Then you recall, as you charged past the opening to the passage to your right, you saw the duergar. Except... there was something different about him. He seemed... larger.
Wash calls out "No Ballassar, it is a trap", moves to approximately where Balassar had previously been and releases a heavenly blast at the closest kobold: Attack: 24 Damage: 9
Alton, Wash and Balassar are up.You are in trouble... :)
Wash, please confirm if you are still conscious. Balassar, you can make a death saving throw, but wait until the others act. If they get you up, you will have your full turn.

Wash, Balassar and Alton are up.
Wash moves as far as he can towards where the enemies are fleeing and releases a heavenly blast at the closest enemy he can see: Attack: 22 Damage: 5
Wash uses his full 30 feet of movement and sees no enemy. Will he dash onwards, or halt and do something else?

As he doesn’t see anyone, he turns and runs back to where he had been before and asks the others "back to the last room and the clockwork armour?"
As a free action, he pulls out one of his bags of caltrops.
Balassar and Alton are up.

Balassar moves closely to inspect the forge.

Balassar, you see nothing special about the forge; it's active, and would burn if you entered it. It can be used to forge weapons.
Alton is up.
Alton will go ahead and make his way back to where the robot armor is at just to see if anyone is going to come from behind them.

Alton, you don't find any sign that anything has changed in the workshop room.
Balassar, two crossbow bolts strike from the distance towards you:
Attack: 13 Damage: 9
Attack: 12 Damage: 9
You see the two kobolds to the south-east. And you think you hear more coming. There's no sign of the duergar at the moment.
Balassar, Wash and Alton are up.
Balassar just lets out a roar as he pulls out the bolt and charges the kobold that shot at him swinging his blade.

Wash isn't able to reach a spot where he can see any enemy. Will he dash ahead, or hold his blast attack?
[Was writing post at same time, update target to the other one that could be seen in previous map.]
Okay, it has three-quarters cover, but the attack roll is high enough to hit. Kobold 2 is dead.
Alton is up.
Alton not seeing anyone makes his way back to where he left Wash and Balassar.
Movement: 25ft back the way he came
Action: Dash to get back into the storage room.

Alton reaches the stairs, and looks down to see Wash and, further ahead, Balassar getting swamped.
The massive duergar emerges from the side room and the war pick slams down towards the dragonborn fighter:
Attack: 14 Damage: 10
Balassar is crushed and slammed to the ground; Wash and Alton, you both see him fall.
The duergar grins and begins to make his way towards Wash. Despite its fearsome size and strength, it still looks very badly hurt.
Two kobolds come out from the darkness and shoot their hand crossbows:
Attack: 18 Damage: 6
Attack: 24 Damage: 8
(Unless Wash is using Shield, that puts him down as well, right?)
