Wash offers to patch everyone's wounds up with their healing kits (deduct one use from your healing kit), healing Alton 12, Balassar 7 and himself 7.
He says "I'm ok to take a rest if you both want, though should we take a quick and stealthy look around to make sure we don't get surprised by any other foes?"
Wash's healing takes effect; you all feel a little better, though your wounds still hurt. You don't immediately hear anything approaching to challenge you. What would you like to do?
Wash indicates "I'm OK for the moment. Should we make sure there isn't anything else lurking around another corner? Also, does anyone know what happened to our elf friend Yinra?"
You see a large room up ahead. A training room. A sand pit covers most of the floor. In the centre, four kobolds face off against each other, armed with wooden weapons. Standing to one side, a drow, richly dressed, appears to be giving them instruction in a language you cannot understand. His commands are sharp, more like single words barked with contempt. The kobolds seem to obey, and attack each other without quarter.
Once Alton is done checking the Duergar's body he will go through the small side bedroom. "There's got to be something around here that would be good."

Alton, you find four opals (25 gold each), a flawed ruby (75 gold), and a flawed diamond (100 gold). in a small bag at the side of the bed. You also find, on the desk, an unfinished statue in stone of a dwarf. In one corner of the room you find several broken statues that appear to be earlier attempts at the same figure. The craftsmanship is excellent, but in its unfinished state it is unlikely to be worth anything.
Wash sneaks back to the others and tells them what he saw. He suggests that they can try and take them by surprise and that they should try to take out the strange elf-person first.
Alton takes the bag over to Balassar, "Hey, look what I found. I think we can get a little bit of gold from them." He tucks the bag into his backpack before going back inside the room to grab the unfinished statue and come back out. "Do you think he was working on this? It isn't finished so I don't know if we can get anything from selling it."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wash will offer to heal Balassar further if he needs it rather than them taking a rest (it was a terrible roll for healing kit heal with only a 7 hp heal). He casts cure wounds for 8 hp.
[Let me know if I get in too late or if Balassar needs to heal more than 15 total, I just don't want the drow and kobolds to sneak up on us. Just checked - Balassar was on 3 hp, then Alton healed him 10 hp, I've healed 7 hp and 8 hp, so 25 hp of healing from a starting point of 3 hp]
Alton catches up with Wash and Balassar, "That was a little scary, but we made it." His small body obviously shaking from the finished battle.

Balassar just smiled "Not bad, though if that drawf hadn't been with 'em would've been an easy fight. Maybe we should rest just a bit."

"If you two want to rest in that room off to the side that the dwarf came out of, I can scout around." Alton suggests.

Alton will give the body of the Duergar a once over to see what he had on him.

Alton, you find nothing of value on the body of the duergar, except perhaps for the war pick,
Wash starts walking towards the unexplored tunnel gingerly (moving 30 ft but taking the dodge action).
Wash, make a Stealth check if you are trying to remain unseen, and a Perception check.
[If I can stealth and take the dodge action then yes.]
Stealth: 12
Perception: 11
You can, yes.

Drow's Perception 10
You are able (if you wish) to dodge to one side and remain undetected for the moment, though there is no way to advance further and stay unseen.

Balassar will just lean against a wall enjoying whatever short rest he can get before they continue.
OOC:
If possible, he will take a short rest while they search.

You can take a short rest if you wish. Where exactly will you take it? (As there are potentially hostile creatures in the area still.)
If you still have hit dice, you can take them. Note that you cannot take a short rest and also search the area at the same time.
Or you can deal with the drow and kobolds...
OOC: Probably in the room they are searching with his back against the wall.
