Wolves, bears, the occasional gnoll, nothing major.  Took down a crazed giant once, but that was with a bit of a gang.  You folks look well armed - you faced anything interesting recently?

Alton, your musical performance goes pretty well, though you struggle to cast Prestidigitation while playing (as it has somatic components).  Nevertheless, you convey the story with creativity and passion, and the handful of listeners nod along and smile.  Art seems to enjoy the music a great deal and claps enthusiastically as you finish, though the other patrons just turn back to their conversation.

A fine song, and one I've not heard in a while.  Where I come from, folks don't like to sing about the Betrayer Gods, they think it might summon them.  A foolish notion, but folks are folks, you know?

"A crazed giant you say? That is extremely impressive. Do you know who has hired you for this hunting work? I'm more of a healer than fighter myself, though I've been around a battlefield or dozen in my time and am definitely helpful in a scrap, even if it is just keeping everyone healthy."

Wash is purposefully not answering Art's question, but is trying to be subtle about it.

Wash also asks his little dragon friend "Is there anything that you want me to get for you to eat or drink?"

Oh, no, but the Starosta's office will tell me, like always.  You can probably find work too if you're interested.  Hey, we might end up working together.  Who knows?

Wash, the creature gives you a friendly headbutt and conveys a sense of contentment and not needing food or water.

Balassar just listens enjoying his companions tune. As Alton finishes he looks to Art "I'm use to creating a body count so no issue, though a troll is pretty impressive. We haven't had success like that, in fact we just formed our band of misfits." Balassar just smiles looking at his companions "Maybe that's what we should call ourselves, The Misfits."

Wash agrees "The Misfits... It has a nice ring to it."

Alton returns to the table and puts his lute away. "Thank you," He says chipperly. "I would very much like to hear the story behind fighting a crazy giant. I like to collect stories and retell them more than I like to sing." He takes a few drinks from his mug, "Hmm... The Misfits does sounds nice, but maybe it could have a little extra flare to it? Like The Mighty Misfits... no, that sounds too close to that better known adventuring group. Oh maybe, The Mystic Misfits... that makes us sound like a bunch of wizards. Hmm..." Alton's eyes dart between Wash and Balassar while he mumbles different name combinations, "Silverburne Misfits... Silvercloak Misfits..." He sighs, "Maybe just The Misfits does sound the best." Alton goes back to finishing up his meal and drink, still mumbling some names between bites.

If you want a three-hour discussion over names, call for a bard, says Art cheerily.  He tells you the story of his giant hunt; it's not all that remarkable but he's a decent storyteller, if not quite a match for Alton.

Art is drinking and having a good time in your company - do you want to stay up late with him, or head off to bed?

Balassar just looks around as he finishes his next drink "Time for bed. We have an early start tomorrow." he just looks around waiting for Wash and Alton's response.

Alton smiles, "That was a great story Art! Would you mind if I added it to my collection and retell it? Maybe it would help you get more work." Alton nods with Balassar's words, "We do have an early start, huh. It would be a good idea to get some rest." He looks at Art, "Maybe you can leave with us and we can all travel together if we are all going to Felderwin. Though..." He looks to Balassar and Wash, "I would like to make a small detour if you both don't mind and if it isn't too far out of the way."

Balassar just nods "Fine with me."

You up to bed in your rooms, and pass the night peacefully.  Please deduct the coin for the rooms, if you haven't already.

You awake shortly after dawn, having completed a long rest.

Alton starts going through his bag, checking all of the pockets on his backpack and on his clothes making sure nothing else has been taken; while hoping to find the map that went missing. "No, no. It has to be here somewhere." He starts to panic a little bit as he realizes that it is likely someone stole it and goes to find Wash and Balassar. "Guys, I've been robbed! Someone stole my family's map."

Balassar just blinks at the response to a lost map. He just begins to strap on his armor “We can find you another map.” His attention turns to Wash “Is the item safe at least?”

Alton starts to tear up a little, both from having something personal stolen and the dismissal, "It not just some map that can be replaced. It is a family treasure. It belonged to my great grandfather and that map went with a journal he kept. It was to lead to some treasure he was looking for." He sniffs and wipes his nose, "At least that is what my dad told me before I left. I want to find it one day so I can make him proud and prove my great grandpa wasn't crazy." He looks Balassar in the eyes, "I bet you'd be upset if some heirloom in your family was stolen."

Nub checks to make sure that he still has the package and either way says "Alton, that is terrible. Do you know when you last saw it? Do you think it was that Art fellow? Should we go look for him?" 

"I know I had it last night before going to bed. I don't know why Art would steal it or anything really, he seemed really nice." Alton does his best to try to compose himself. "I think we should try and find him. If that is okay with you guys. I know we have a mission to do as well." 

Balassar just nods to Alton "I didn't realize how important it was. Let's find it and take it back."

"Thank you, you guys." Alton looks around the common room, seeing if there is anyone from last night around.
