Bite vs. Jarnick: 14Damage: 9 Bite vs. Noah: 25Damage: 11 Bite vs. Falenas: 7Damage: 11
Noah declares his intentions by letting loose a beam of ice that drops the first flying snake from the sky. The creature plummets to the earth; through Rat's eyes, Maelfearance watches it shatter to pieces near his body while Ryona and Yevele stand at the ready.
The remaining snakes turn to a panicked frenzy. Their bodies lash through the air like a missile. Falenas drops a second with a powerful blast of arcane energy moments before it strikes Jarnick; the halfling lunges at another incoming snake, but the tiny beast maneuvers through the air, avoiding the tip of his rapier and sinking its teeth into his arm.
The two remaining snakes dart for those assailing them from the ground, one diving into Noah's shoulder while the other plunges above Falenas's outstretched arm, into his neck.
The small fangs of the creatures feel like little more than a pinprick, but the venom that courses through them is much more painful. Jarnick and Noah's visions swim as a wave of nausea strikes. Falenas falls to the ground, overcome by the poison.
Round 2 Order: Flying Snakes Players <=====
Placement: Jarnick is engaged in melee combat with one snake on the ledge. Yevele is 85 feet across the ledge from him. Noah is engaged in melee combat with one snake on the ground. The third snake is nearby. The two snakes on the ground are in movement range of all but Jarnick and Yevele.
Health: Falenas is unconscious and dying (0 successes, 0 failures). Noah is grievously wounded. Jarnick is badly wounded.
After confidently aiming the blast at a moving snake and dropping it, Falenas turns to Ryona with a smile. "Hey, it seems that being an optimist pays off, I should try it more often" But as he lowers his guard he doesn't see the snake darting to him. He feels the pain of the bite and falls to the ground.
Watching the snake in the air freeze and start to fall, she looks to the next. She tracks the missile-like dart, and she reaches an arm out toward Falenas as he lowers his guard. "Fale...!" Her voice booms at full volume, hurting her own ears with a wince and cutting off the full name from being uttered. Only when Falenas' knees shiver and fail that she truly feels he was in danger. She glances down at her fallen friend, and looks up with a wrathful glare at the floating snake. As she strides toward it with a teeth-gritted scowl, she reaches to her chest and clutches at the symbol of Tyr. Again her voice booms, this time echoing with magic without wincing to the volume. "Brothers! Show them our will of steel and fire! We shall not fall!" (Bless on Falenas, Noah and herself. Triggering Voice of Authority on herself, using reaction and inspiration.) An aura of soft yellow radiates from her, and shimmers over Noah and Falenas.
As the aura reaches a peak in its glow, she releases the symbol and winds to her left with the shield while lowering herself. Throwing all the force she can muster with a shout, she slams the tiny creature. 33 + 3 for 3((all that for 3 to 7 damage, you say? Well... yeah. I don't think Noah even has a weapon out at all))
In the wake of the attack, she grabs her spear, pulling it out and coming at the ready.

Upon seeing that they're in combat Maelfearance will come back to himself and angrily lash out at those attacking his companions. Spotting one snake engaged with Noah, Maelfearance will mutter some harsh words beneath his breath and gesture at the slithering winged beast and unleash a beam of crackling energy at it. Eldritch Blast Attack 19 for Damage 2

Noah lets out an exclamation of pain, staggering back as he holds the open wound where the snake bit him. He fumbles for one of his daggers, freeing it from its sheathe. Seeing Falenas fall makes him feel no better about his current situation, but he resolves to jab back at the winged snake with the help of Ryona's divine blessing.

Seeing the snakes attack, Yevele springs into action and dash toward Jarnick. At the end of the dash, Yevele will throw a dart at the snake engaged with Jarnick
Jarnick pushes away the snake and try to shrug off the pain, he feels weak from the bleeding but he is stout, vigorous energy sprung out from his vital body. Second Wind: 3
Infuriated by the attack, he let out a furious cry and retaliates at the snake, swinging his rapier, "You asked for this!"
OOC: Note that Voice of Authority can't be used to trigger a reaction from Ryona, because an ally is a creature other than itself. That can definitely be used to trigger a reaction from Noah or Falenas, but neither of them would be able to make a weapon attack this round.
Yevele would not be able to attack in the same turn as dash, because dash takes her action for this round. Please correct me if I have missed an ability that allows her to attack or dash as a bonus action.

Falenas Death Save (+ Bless): 13
Bite vs. Jarnick: 20Damage: 8 Bite vs. Ryona: 7
Feeling the divine energy from Ryona, Noah aims true with his dagger, stabbing the snake in its mouth as it flies toward him again, killing it in midair. The other snake at ground level flies beyond the blast of Maelfearance, directly into Ryona's shield as she brings it to bear, falling [condition]prone[/condition upon the ground in a daze.
On the ledge, Jarnick stumbles as the poison courses through his system, beating his sound mind. As Yevele rushes over, he falls to another strike, snake fangs stuck firmly in his neck.
Round 3 Order: Flying Snakes Players <=====
Placement: Yevele is 25 feet away from the snake on the ledge. Ryona is engaged in melee combat with the snake at ground level, which is prone. The snake at ground level is in movement range of all but Yevele.
Health: Falenas is unconscious and dying (1 success, 0 failures). Jarnick is unconscious and dying (0 successes, 0 failures). Noah is grievously wounded.
Active Effects: Ryona, Falenas, and Noah are blessed for 54 seconds (add 1d4 to attack rolls and saving throws).
Yevele will pull out her quarter staff and continue over to where the snake is embedded in Jarnick's neck, hitting with her quarter staff and then kicking it with her bonus attack.
Quarter staff: Attack: 10 Damage: 9
Kick: Attack: 17 Damage: 6
(ooc) The rules are somewhat vague on this, but, at 2nd level, a monk can expend ki to use dash as their extra action. Which means, at 1st level, Yevele couldn't dash and throw her dart. Still learning the mechanics of 5e.
Shocked that these flying worms are causing such trouble, Maelfearance takes a moment to whisper an incantation and then thrusts out his hand. Immediately three darts of magical energy fly forth and strike the remaining saying creatures. Two strike the one attached to Jarnick's neck, the last dart of energy striking the prone snake.

Noah steps back and around where Ryona and Malfearance are engaged, still flustered by the wound the slain snake had inflicted. He glances at Jarnick just as he falls, wincing as the second member of the party is knocked down by the surprisingly vicious creatures. Pain and the anger incited by seeing these pests hurt his companions so grievously drives him to embrace the blood of the white dragon, as Noah releases an Ice Knife at the snake on ground level, careful to maintain his distance.
Ice Knife: 12 + 2
Damage: 5 + Damage: 10 (on dexterity saving throw fail)
At ground level, Ryona plants her spear through the snake, pinning it to the ground. Above, Yevele uses her staff to leverage the snake lower, where she wheels around, kicking it sideways through the air. Pointing a hand toward each one, Maelfearance sends glowing white darts of force into them both, ending the threat in cohesive fashion.
OOC: The snakes were dead before Noah could cast Ice Knife, so that spell slot has not been used.
Falenas (2 successes, 0 failures) and Jarnick (1 success, 0 failures) are unconscious and dying.
Dropping the spear and kneeling over Falenas, Ryona holds a hand out to Maelfearance. "Just a bandage," she tries to whisper, coming out at spoken volume. Accepting the cloth, she presses it gently against Falenas' bite, the soft yellow radiance again shining about her hand as she presses a little more. Wiping it away, she whispers again, this time a little softer. "Being an optimist does pay off, Falenas."
OOC: No Medicine check required with a healer's kit being used. Because Falenas is in the process of dying, Ryona's healer feat brings him back to 1 HP. She can then use a second use of the healer's kit to heal him for 10 HP if she would like.
Glancing around, Noah quickly realizes the last of the snakes have been killed, and sheathes both his dagger and his wand. Also realized, to much more displeasure, is that venom now courses through his veins as much as the furious ice of dragons - quickly grasping at his wound, Noah drops to one knee, retching onto the ground. He wipes his mouth with his sleeve, looking around in excruciating pain.
From his position, he waves over to Malfearance and Ryona, grinning sheepishly despite the agony. "Me next, please. Those things really did a number."
((In that case... let's let Mael use his Medicine check first? Without the use of the healing kit since Medicine isn't used at all for using the kit, then with him stable, Ryona then uses the kit- if you'd allow that, I didn't understand that the creature had to be stable to use the healing part. Best part? That perfectly fits with our actual actions, if Mael 'uses the kit' by handing it to Ryona before using his skill. Otherwise chalk down two uses this time.))
Ryona smiles faintly, then looks to Noah. "Just a moment, Noah... don't go laying down yet."

Once the snake is dead, Yevele immediately drops to one knee next to Jarnick and pulls her herbalism kit out of her backpack and does what she can for the unconscious halfling, muttering quietly to herself "Please don't die, don't die."
