Alaric smiles and nods at Flint, Eraminus and Alvara, then drags the bodies into the bushes, stripping them of any valuables or items of interest. In case they wake up, he throws their weapons further into the forest.
"Bind them?" he asks. "I have rope. Perhaps we do that while Archie check the way forward. But it's probably not necessary."
[[ ...I'm off to bed.
- Happy for Alaric to take the lead (behind Archie?) scouting the tunnels, if that's the plan.
- Befriending dogs might be good. He has rations; the goblins were cooking something, we could use that.
Eraminus takes the rope from Alaric, tying the goblins up and placing them back in the hut. He glances around for any valuables. He then steps back outside.
Flint smiles widely, taking a moment to savoir the minor victory. He retrieves the javelin and notices the blood smear at its point. Flint approaches Eraminus and whispers, “Ye made wan throw count. Yer welcome to this if ye want it.”
[BTW, I think you get to add your strength modifier to thrown weapon damage]
Flint turns his attention to the unconscious goblins. He assesses their injuries and tries to figure out how long they will be out.
(Oh sweet, I'll make sure to do that. Bushes work fine too) Eraminus nods, "Little more than a flesh wound I gave the sucker, but considering I can hardly see." He gave a slight shrug, "Thank you, I might have to pick up a few of these when we get into a town." He attached it to his bag before getting out a torch and lighting it.
Flint roles each goblin’s head side to side, looking for trauma. He peels back their eyelids to find dilated pupils. With a click of his tongue, he says “That’s a doozy. These two should be out for a few hours, plenty of time to get to Klarg.”
Eraminus looks over to Flint, "It might be a good idea to continue onward then." He then glances over at Alaric, his torch crackling lightly while the flames dance, "Shall you lead the way since you are more adept at finding and disarming traps? I can follow up the rear since my torch will give us away if I follow too closely."
Alaric nods at Eraminus' suggestion, then grabs some of whatever the goblins were cooking and says, "For the dogs... Anyone good with animals?"
Aragorn:
Alaric is skilled with a poisoners kit (but does not have one -- too expensive): does that mean he might know and identify medicinal herbs? Specifically ones that might be added to the stew to knock out dogs... Or goblins?
“On the islands we learned what the prey animals ate, when they were active and how to avoid alerting them. So, I feel I know a bit about animals.” With a smirk, Flint adds, “Also, if the mongrels want to bite someone, why not the dwarf with the shield?”
Turning to Alvara, Flint asks, “Did you find anything tasty we could bribe the dogs with?”
Alaric glances at Flint, "I took....this", he flourishes the now-cooling pot, "...I have no idea what it is, but they were cooking it in the hut."
To Eraminus he says, "Yes, probably best for me to stay in front, especially with the torch. If I come upon them singly, I can probably deal with them...more than one, I may need help."
"Venison in the pot here, looks tasty enough to page our way into the hearts of those dogs," Alvara responds cheerfully.
At Alaric's question, she shakes her head. "Never had any pets... Except Archie, I guess, but he's more of a grumpy patron spirit than an animal... Although I did do a lot of reading about flora and fauna in my studies, so I might be a little help identifying things nature-related."
Flint agrees with Alvara, “Aye, this is the perfect treat for ‘em.” Turning to the group, Flint says, “With this meat, I think I am well-armed and can try my hand at calming the hounds if ye like.” He adds, “I can also call on a touch of divine help if need be.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alaric nods, "Then I think we are agreed. I will go ahead, until we near the dogs, then Flint...", he pauses a smile creeping onto his face.
"I wonder...would it be worth releasing them? If they run into the forest, that's one less problem to worry about. Perhaps take them to the entrance first...I guess that depends on how Flint goes and whether the dogs are chained up. If we do release them, it might be best if the rest of us hid while it happened. In any case, lets go!"
Alaric sneaks toward the cave entrance, wary for more guards, traps, and, of course, dogs...
Agreeing with Alaric, Flint says, “Releasing them could prevent complications. Let’s go see what we are dealing with.” Flint takes the venison in hand and follows several feet behind Alaric as he enters the cave.
Flint begins to look visibly annoyed by the jangle of his chain mail, but he tries his best to avoid making noise. He chants a quite prayer to Thor and casts guidance on himself before continuing.
Stealth check: 3 + 2
[Since I won't be able to check in for a while I will also include the rolls for the dogs]
If Flint gets to the room with the dogs without incident, he will cast guidance on himslef, attempt to calm the dogs, offer them some venison and then use the promise of more food to lead them out of the cave.
Eraminus waits, letting them get a bit head of him so that they are able to sneak without having to deal with the light from his torch. He glanced behind him towards the tree line before stepping into the cave once everyone was in and a head of him.

[[ Just checking, Alaric was going to carry bodies to hide in undergrowth... Would that work, or is it too open, so hut is better?]]
The undergrowth near the hut is thick enough for you to hide the bodies in it.

The meat looks like venison.

They should be out for a few hours.
Correct, you can use your Strength Mod for thrown weapons.

"Moderately so, have some experience with general farm animals from the monastery." Eraminus shrugged and glanced at the other members of the party.
