There is a small stalagmite near the chimney to tie the rope off at. Only one person can climb at a time, and it does not go farther up. They are roughly 20ft away, while the wolf is 25ft.

Does Alaric think he could tie the rope off without being seen? If the dogs below could be encouraged to make some noise it might cover any noise people make while climbing.
If no one falls while climbing, nobody will hear, but the dogs are still untrusting of the group, so they may not listen. The stalagmite is close enough to the to hole that you can tie it off without being seen.

Alaric cautiously levers himself over the edge of the chimney, alert for the slightest movement from the rooms other occupants.
He gingerly ties the rope, then lowers it down the chimney until the is no slack.
Having done what he can, he scans the room for another hiding place, in case it is needed, but in the mean time hides near the stalactite while he waits for his companions to climb.
Hopefully, untrusting dogs means they will more readily make noise ... If that's what people want
Alvara watches as Alaric skillfully maneuvers himself up the chimney. As the rope is lowered, she takes hold of the loose end and searches for something on their side to tie it to, in order to keep the rope taught while the three of are climbing.
She keeps an eye on the hounds, wary that any barking will alert Klarg and the goblins above to the presence of intruders.

Eraminus watches as first Alaric and then Alvara climb up the chimney. While awaiting his turn he keeps his eyes focused on the opposite side of the room, glancing over to Flint every so often. Once he sees the line go partially slack he snuffs out his torch and places it back on his belt. He ducks into the chimney and begins to try to climb.
Relief washes over her face once Alvara reaches the top and she turns to see Eraminus following with ease. Knowing he could not see in the dark, she extends a hand to help guide him to Alaric.
Alvara looks down the chimney shaft to watch Flint and his ascent.
(Room is well light from what I understand when I did a perception roll) Eraminus takes her hand and squats beside Alaric, looking around the room while they wait for Flint to climb. He peers slightly over the cover towards the goblins. He grasps his hand axe but debates on drawing the greatsword instead.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Flint fastens his hammer to his belt and his shield to his back. He mutters to himself, “C’mon Flint, the rest made it. Now it’s only ye.” He grabs ahold of the rope and begins to hoist himself up.
Eraminus ducks his head down, "What's our game plan? Two goblins, Klarg, and the wolf. Alaric, do you want to try to sneak around and take out one of them while we can take on the rest?" He speaks in a hushed whisper.
"I wonder if we should all focus on taking out Klarg first... Archie smelled a lot of goblins in the cave before and I'm worried Klarg will call more back-up if we let him... easy for us to get overwhelmed in here."
Alvara looks around the room to see if there is a door to the exit that they could barricade or otherwise close off to prevent reinforcements from streaming in.
Eraminus nods, "We'll need to peel at least the wolf away from him, make our lives a little easier when fighting Klarg. It looks like its fond of him or at least will listen to his commands."

Yes, there is a small stalagmite near the base of the chimney.

Putting her hands on the rope and sides of the chimney, she takes a deep breath and prepares herself to climb.

Alvara makes it up the first half, but the second proves more challenging, and she gained no height. (Another strength check please.)
