Speaking in hushed tones, Alaric responds "Perhaps some magic may be used, to distract or disable them", says Alaric, looking hopefully at Flint and Alvara. "We need to close with them, without them raising an alarm."
Eraminus nods in agreement, "Alvara, would you be able to cast an illusion spell to get them to think there is gold opposite of us?" He slightly spins the hand axe in his palm back and forth.
Alvara mentally goes through her spellbook and nods excitedly. "I can try putting them to sleep or casting an illusion to catch their attention..." She whispers, looking over at her targets. "Klarg might be harder to put to sleep, but I might have a shot with the goblins and the wolf."
Flint eyes the four figures around the fire. A seriousness comes over his face. He whispers “I‘ve got one spell left. Probably best to save it in case one of you fall.” He adds, “Concentrating on Klarg is a good idea, but Goblin stabs can kill ye all the same. Those wee ones will have a hard time getting through my shield. Maybe the three of ye try to take down Klarg while I try to keep the goblins and the hound busy?”
(No, Klarg and the two are talking back and forth) Eraminus looks Alvara, "If you can put them to sleep that would be fine with me. One goblin is better than three and a wolf."
Alaric glances at the group, then says in hushed tones, "So we are agreed: Alvara will try to put the goblins and wolf to sleep, and we will all rush Klarg?"
Eraminus nods, "Sounds good, if only a few of them go to sleep then Flint can hold them off while the rest of us take on Klarg. I'll keep to my hand axe then so that we don't have any accidents."

"As soon as I put them to sleep, get ready to move in on the others so they don't try to rouse the sleeping ones," Alvara says in hushed tones. "Alright, here we go..."
She places one hand on her spellbook and begins drawing little Z's in the air with the other, her gaze transfixed on a point where all four of her targets are in range, but the party is unaffected. She begins quietly mumbling an incantation continuing her hand motions and within moments, a wave of magical slumber fills the air.
HP affected roll: 20 (Roll 5d8; the total is how many hit points of creatures this spell can affect.)
Sleep Spell Description for anyone curious:
This spell sends creatures into a magical slumber. Roll 5d8; the total is how many hit points of creatures this spell can affect. Creatures within 20 feet of a point you choose within range are affected in ascending order of their current hit points (ignoring unconscious creatures).
Starting with the creature that has the lowest current hit points, each creature affected by this spell falls unconscious until the spell ends, the sleeper takes damage, or someone uses an action to shake or slap the sleeper awake. Subtract each creature's hit points from the total before moving on to the creature with the next lowest hit points. A creature's hit points must be equal to or less than the remaining total for that creature to be affected.
Undead and creatures immune to being charmed aren't affected by this spell.
Both goblins slump over, while the wolf looks confused, and then angry, glaring at the spot you are all hiding in, nose twitching. Klarg (I think we all know its him by now.) looks at his minions, and nudges them with a stick.

Eraminus leaps over what he had been behind, charging at Klarg, he lets loose a whooping war cry. He slashes at him, hand axe slicing through the musty air.
(Well, you get advantage from surprising them, so that gives you advantage for the first round, and if you are still flanking him/them for the second, you would get advantage.)

[[ I should have asked... Are any of them already asleep? ]]

This is the point at which we rush Klarg, I think....would i be correct in assuming theres no way for Alaric to be sneaky about it?

Do we have surprise? And do we need to roll initiative?
Either way, Alaric rushes out and attacks the big guy... Hopefully he's just behind Flint or Eraminus...
