When Eraminus cuts down the second goblin, he nods to the warrior, "Thank you, that might have been messy."

He reaches down to pick up it's weapons, and search its body, then turns back into the forest to where the unconscious one is. Sheathing his weapons, and gathering it in his arms, he trudges back to the group as they investigate the site.

Putting the unconscious goblin on the ground, he says "Anyone speak goblin?"

(It's 6:3PM where I'm at lol)

Alaric looks for things he might use to tie up the goblin, possibly cutting straps of the armour of one of the dead ones. He then searches it and the other bodies as well, gathering any weapons into the wagon.

in the absence of other options, he tries to wake it after tying it up, then gestures to the horses and says "Where are the men who rode these horses?" He has no plan to torture the goblin, but pulls out a knife and says grimly, "It's been a long day, but yours can be a whole lot longer, or mercifully short."

Alaric sees a coil of rope in the wagon.

At the sight of the knife, the goblin breaks into a fit of half common/half cry. "Please, not hurt Barek, Gurf org not hurt. Arek smek urken, Klag make Barek, Barek no want hurt other. Please no kiler Barek!"

Alaric's eyes narrow, "You may yet live to see the next sunrise...but that depends on the truth of what you say."

He points at Flint, "This man can tell the truth in words. He will know if you lie. If you lie, you will die. Do you understand?"

Assuming the goblin nods, he continues "What happened to the men on these horses? And who is Klag? One of the others that attacked us?"

Flint follows Alaric's lead. He wields his hammer and his face becomes a deep leathered frown. He turns to the goblin and says "Yer only chance at life is to please this one with the truth."

Flint, sensing Alaric's intentions to press the goblin for information, casts guidance on Alaric.

"We get tell to attack you. Klarg get told to told us. Forek clarm recer, Klarg at home, Klarg no fight. Please no hurgeg Barek!"

Eraminus studies the goblin, "Tells us where home is and we might spare you. How many of your kin are there?"  He thought to himself that the goblin would provide more information and be more helpful if given a glimmer of hope.  He placed his hand on his hip, "I might even forgive you for shooting me in the shoulder."

Following the lead of Eraminus, Alvara makes sure she is in view of the goblin, and she pulls out a silver piece from her coin purse. "Spare your life and maybe even a reward if you are useful to us..." She flips the coin in the air before catching it, hoping the stories she had heard of goblin greed were true. "And tell us, were you expecting us to come this way?"

- be honest, and you may live to see the sunrise
- we may let you free
- and forgive you
- and pay you money

If we keep outbidding each other, we should just tie ourselves up and hand ourselves over to the goblins.

Don't get me wrong, I'm equally to blame...I started by outbidding myself when I felt sorry for the pathetic little thing. But it did seem funny. ]]

We don't yet have an answer to #1, but I assume they are 'home'...we should check tho!

Depending on the answers, I'd probably add (one at a time):

1(a). Are the men who rode the horses still alive?
2(a). Who told Klarg to tell you to attack?
2(b). Who is Klarg?
2(c). Why do you follow Klarg?
2(d). Do you people like doing what Klarg says?
2(e) If 2(d) is "no", then: What would they do if Klarg was killed?
2(f) If 2(e) is something like "be more peaceful" or "go away" then ask about ways to get to Klarg. ]]

After the goblin is questioned, he says "I must apologize to you all; I was not doing my job. I had assumed the road would be safer. Perhaps I should take the lead...quietly...as we move forward."

When they head off, he would move ahead stealthily, keeping an eye out for more ambushes.

- He would prefer to leave the goblin alive, but tied up (or maybe tied up and with them?), with a promise we will release it when matters are settled.
- He would also put all the goblin weapons in the cart. They are not cheap, and he is poor. If they had a short sword of usable quality, he'd take it to use.
- If the choice is between rescuing Gundren OR seeking revenge on goblins, he would vote for rescue. If the two coincide, then fine.

"Klag tell Barek to gring smell dwarf and human to Klag, they still life. I no know who tell Klarg. I show you home if promiek not hurt Barek. No kin, just Barek and friends. We use road for abucking travels." The goblin answers each answer in turn. "Klarg massive goblin, Klarg hurt is we no listen. Most ork us hate Klarg work. Witer no Klarg, we go back to mountains." At the sight of the coin, the goblin puts more effort into being truthful.

Eraminus looks at the goblin, "Barek, does Klarg have any others who would defend him or would they abandon him if he was called out?" He glanced at the others of the party.

"Most defend Klarg, or he hurt us. I no think other help you."

"Shame, is Klarg's layer a cave? If so how many entrances does it have?" Eraminus squatted to be on Barek's level, making eye contact with the dwarf.

"Yes, home cave. One hole."

Eraminus studies the goblin's face, "How many other goblins are there? How did you know we were going to be coming?"

"Thers is many other. Barek no know count. We watch path everday to rob peoples."

"The warrior and dwarf that were riding those horses, are they still alive? Does your cave have sentries and patrols around the outside?" 

"Barek send to Klarg, me think Klarg keep alive. Klarg need."
