"Do you want the magic mirror to us to look at reflections?  You can run in their backwards."  Bernard offers.

Ramious sighs, “I’m just...... just not that keen on snakes. Fine. Fine. I’m ready. Let’s do this.” 

Alyssa had been ready. Rami seemed fine with the giant snake a while back, but she knew if she’d offer to go ahead, she’d be denied. She’d wait silently providing a nod that she’s good to go if anyone looks her way. The cleric was still ready with bless. 

The doors required but the slightest push - who made the push, who entered and in what order?

Leon shoves the doors open. How big is the room we are going into? How much did his owl see as far as how big it is? Leon would accept the mirror. "Light as many torches as you can." He tells Ramious. "Maybe we can get the thing to turn itself to glass..." Leon will not use the mirror to see the medusa though. His plan is to get within 30 feet of it, then get it to see itself in the mirror. He lets Ramious go in first, then would let any of the others through, coming in last himself.

Bernard would come in either last or 2nd to last pending Alyssa's preference.

There are 4 torches tied to a rope spaced 10 feet apart.

Initiative 13

Ramious, dragging four lit torches tied to a rope, casts his eyes to the floor and walks boldly into the room.  He listens as he does so, for the sound of this creature moving about, but walks about thirty feet forward into the room, moving around around statues.  If he hears the thing, he'll rush in the at direction...at some point dropping the line of torches. 

Initiative : 21

Perception : 14 

Alyssa would fall in line behind Ramious with Bernard desiring to go second last and Leon taking up the rear. She’d focus her eyes down, following Rami’s feet, keeping her ears open, casting bless (if she could) when he’d kick off and drop the torches.

The room is big - 80ft by 40ft (the door being on the short side). The room is fool of statues and quiet at the moment - quite possibly the creature(s) is adjusting to the bright light from the torch garland that suddenly lightened up half the room. By the contrast with the lighener area, the backside of the room now looks pitch black - even Bernard, who probably dared to look around, would need to step out of the bright light to look into the far corners.

 (and to be clear - the mirror you have is a small hand mirror. Not something someone can easily look into from afar.

Bernard is the only one to fully appreciate the view of the room. It was beautiful once, with colorful mosaic on the walls, decorative floor, thin columns. There are parts of the walls that look as if some openings were sealed with the rough rocks. And there are statues - a lot of them. People, dressed differently (though all in the general style of your hosts here), of different age and gender but with the same expression on their shiny glass faces - pure horror.

May be it was just flickering light of the torches on the floor, but Bernard though he saw one of this statue turning its head towards intruders. (the one 15ft from Ramious forward, to the left of him on the bother of the last light circle)

Alyssa, Leon.

Alyssa would release her Bless spell on Ramious, Leon and Bernard.

If Bernard shared information about probably moving statue, said statue is 40ft from Leon.

Bernard calls out "statue movement up and left Ramious "

Leon moves along the wall, heading towards the area of darkness. He moves away from the moving statue once it is indicated. As he moves he casts flaming sphere, having it apepar at the other end of the chamber, to ligh tup that area of darkness.

The fire rose on the stone floor of the far side of the room, revealing the remaining beauty. That part was slightly elevated, with colorful floor tiles forming some intricate picture and by the farthest wall Bernard could see something like a wide decorated throne with yet another statue sitting on it. The light illuminated a shadowy figure standing just to the left of the throne with a lowered  hood covering big head. The figure jerked back, but realized there was no escape of the light and stopped.

Instead, one of the statue moved - indeed, that was not an illusion, the shining glass arms stretched toward the closest living being and the silence was broken with the clacking sound of heavy "glassy" footsteps. The statue moved slowly but determinedly toward Ramious and tried to sink its claws into him:

(I mixed up the Initiative order. It was supposed to be Leon and Ramious and now Bernard/Alyssa. If Ramious wish to go first - he can (or forgive me that round?))

Anyway, Ramious and Bernard!

Ramious raises his hand at the last second as the creature attacks, a magical shield appearing, just enough pressure to let the things attack slide off his armor.  (Shield) 

Bernard sees the moving statue thing and reacts to that first.  He agitates the bugs around him and sets them attack with him.  Then in a swift motion he aims at the mirror glass thing and fires off two shots.

Bonus action: Agitate swarm

Action: precise shot Attack: 9 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll., Bless to attack 4

2nd Attack: 5 Damage: 16, Bless to attack 1

if one of those hit then add 4 force damage from fey bugs
