The black goo swallowed Bernard's darts as easily as arrows, with the same effect - the ammo was gone, however, this time the holes left by it did not close, and then Ramious's spell burned down the part that was still clinging to the golem. Whatever the back matter was - it was gone now. ((The combat is over))
"I am free now, masters," informed the golem and tried to take a step. It managed to limp forward but the look of this serving monstrosity was now a sight for people with really strong stomachs: wherever the black goo touched the flesh, it left nasty open wounds, ulcers dripping internal fluids. The golem was still functioning, though, and corridor before you did not seem to contain anything suspicious. It ended up in front of yet another door, similar to all other you saw so far.
Bernard has a hard time looking at the creature but forces himself to. "For the future, if a monster or creature attacks you, you may defend yourself."
Turning to the the he said, "Do we need to stop? Can we continue?"
Ramious digs through his bag and pulls out a blanket. He wraps it around the creatures shoulders, hiding the worst of its mangled body. "Gross. Now, go open that door."

Already familiar "Yes, master" - and the construct slowly shambled towards the door. It took time even for the golem to open the door (everyone who tried it before could feel golem's struggle in their shoulders) but eventually the path was clear and the golem stepped aside to let you see.
Behind the door you can see the spacious enough room (about 30x30ft) filled with some silvery globes suspended from the ceiling by wires, each about 2 feet in diameter. You could not say how many until you enter but from your position - quite a few.
Moving up to the door, Leon looks inside. How many of these globes does he see? Is it hundreds, if so he doesn't need an exact count. Does he spot any doors leading out of this chamber, other than the one he is looking in through?
Tempted to walk right in, Alyssa would pause to peak over Leon's shoulder. "Think this is where we find Whelm or Blackrazor?" She'd ask him while moving to pat her nose. The divination wizard would then rhyme off part of Keraptis' letter.
"... Crost cavern vast, where chain-links rattle Lies Whelm, past water-spouts double.
Blackrazor yet remains to be won Underneath inverted ziggurat ..."
Then the elf would glance up at the ceiling as Ramious has been doing. "Did I get those verses correct Keraptis?" She'd smirk.
Ramious grins at Alyssa, happy she's joining in poking fun at their tormentor.
Then he says to the golem, "Alright, have a walk around the outside of the room. All the way round please, back to us." He shrugs and looks at Leon, "Can still ask nicely."

"Yeees, sweetie, you did. Now, do you see any chain-links rattle here?" But the sarcastic notes disappeared quite fast turning in to "Oh... You do... Well..." Thevoice went quiet.
Meanwhile, the blanketcovered golem tried to digestRamious' command, staring blankly into the globe room. Eventually the construct came to some conclusion and confidently stepped inside the room.Itwalked closer to the wall and away from the globes. After a round of the perimeter walkingitreturned to the same spot from which itstarted its journey. "I walked around the room, master,"reported the creature.
Nothing exploded, attacked or otherwise harmed the golem during the exercise.
"So I think we have a couple options here." Leon said as he eyes the globes. "We either try to break one of those, and see what happens, or we simply leave the room alone and keep moving." He glances to the others. "I don't think any of those hints suggest the other weapons are here, unless I am missing something..."
Ramious speaks up, "But we're down the first passage now, we double backed....and there are no doors. There must be a way forward." He looks to the golem and holds out his hand for a high five, "Yeah buddy." He looks at the disgusting half-dissolved hand, and lowers his hand without ordering it to give him a high five. "Now, go walk to the middle of the room and stay there.

"Maybe that is the trap." Leon tells Ramious. "We see three tunnels, so we assume there is a weapon down each. What if only two of them has the weapons? He sighs though. "If you want us to check out this room, then we just as well commit and actually do so." he waits to see what the golem does as it reaches the center first.
Golem did not reach the middle of the room. Or maybe it did - you could not be sure: with yet another "Yes, master" the deformed construct stepped inside to walk straight to the middle point. On the way it bumped into a globe, directly on the line of walking. You did not see or hear it breaking apart but it moved. And the moment it moved - the door slammed shut behind the golem. This time, the thick, large iron-bound and swollen by dampness oak door refused to open not only to Ramious's strength but to any collective effort as well.
Ramious lets his head drop, "Well...that wasn't great. Sorry, I didn't think it would run into that ball." He then yells through the door, "Hey, golem, can you hear us?"

(Would we know that lightning heals the golem?)
(From backgrounds/classes/racial traits - do not think so. But may be it will come up naturally down the road? For now the thing works)

Do the globes give off light?
No, they do not. Dark vision and occasional weak luminescence of algae allows to detect "silvery" nature of the globes.

There are only nine globes and no other doors are visible. No danger is spotted either.
