Oh, no, The Ogre was in a much worse shape without any heal coming his way. Actually, now he was dead and the second attack hit the orog, that did not expect to suddenly get so much attention. Yet, here he was - alone against the party with just a wolf, busy fighting Leon.

If second hit Orog, then reduce the damage by whatever the 2nd d6 rolled in the shortsword damage as Orog doesnt have hunters mark on him.  He would just take the 1d6 plus force roll.  Sorry limited to my cell at the moment so can't see what actually rolled.

(I probably not supposed to tell it, but Bernard can clearly see that the Ogre is literally at his last breath, and that offhand attack might be enough, leaving the main one for Orog)

Ramious watches the Ogre fall just as he slips free of his grip.  He grins a fierce grin and leaps towards the Orog, taking a swipe at him.

Orog was finally downed, leaving Leon and Alyssa to deal with the wolf. Mindless animal, not understanding that his owner is dead, continued pointless attack.

Attack: 10 Damage: 12 If it hits an enemy within 5 feet of the wolf takes 3 fire damage.

This is an amazingly elusive wolf! Leon missed again. May be Alyssa will be luckier.

Alyssa will take aim, firing off a bolt to the wolf.

The bolt of fire bit into the thick fur of the animal, and wolf's snarling turned into wimping. He finally realized he not a hunter anymore but a prey. Wolf made a giant jump on the side and then run to the door, nimbly avoiding others on his way. He made it past the door frame and was already in the corridor when others could react.

The room belonged to the party now (though those in a hunting mood can continue the chase of shoot)

The skins and furs on the floor are better than the one you saw before (not cleaner, though). At the back of the room you can see two large wooden chests.

Bernard will slump down, his adrenaline rush fading quickly as the threats disapate.  He sets his swords and packs down.  Then pulls out his healers kit and spends the next few moments inspecting and treating his wounds.

Before putting it away he'll ask 'Anyone else need to be patched up?"

Ramious absently raises his hand, "Whenever everyone else is tended to..." he mutters.  He approaches the two chests and flips them both open. 

Bernard will spend time patching up the others as needed.  Here are two rolls to start with.  I'll subtract the uses as they are used.

It seems the party was getting richer by the minutes! Two chests were full of coins: surprisingly accurate orcs kept gold and silver separately, one chest contained 440 gp,  and the other - 1600 sp, with some potion, laying on top of it, and a rapier, practically identical to one Ramious had - with the same hint of magic in it (+1 rapier).

Plus, there were two more ears to collect (who knows, may be Ogre ear was even counting for two?).

Feeling a bit better Bernard gets up to look at what's there, "Dang, thats more coin than I've seen in my life...looks like I found the right crew to join up with."  He take a momebt and then heads to the orc and ogre and starts cutting off the ear.  "Two more to the pack..." .

"So I think that there was three other ways we could try going.  That room with the fire trap and then two hallways we didn't check yet.  Work clearing those other halls first I think and I can onlh hope this was the worse of the orcs," says Bernard.

Ramious does a walk-about the room looking for any hidden doors.  "Thanks Bernard, that's great!  Alyssa, can you give me a hand looking?"  (aka help action)  Investigation : 17

Once done, "Couple more caves to check out in the other section, two of em that lead south before we head back to that other big older cave....you guys feelin up for it, or do you need rest?" 

There are no hidden doors or anything suspicious, corridors seem to be quiet as well.

Bernard rolls his shoulders a bit and then pulls his bow back out.  "Ready," he says giving a nod.  This time he plans bot to be so up and front as before after that learning experience.

We collect and distribute the treasure, grab the ears including the Ogre's, and then head to the two un-explored caves to the south of the map. 

110 gold each, 400 silver each.  

Anyone want the rapier?  +1.  Ramious doesn't.

Technically, you never investigated the middle room, the first one past the rope bridge.

Oh, then we go investigate that room!  Ramious samples the potion to try and get a sense of what it might do.
