OOC: You guys have to say whether or not you are moving into the room where the Mage is or not. If NOT ranged attacks only but ALL attacks are with disadvantage because of the cloud.

Gauld-ram you do make it into the room but you take 6 of poison damage having setting off a poison dart trap entering the mage's hideout! You do proceed into the room however making your attacks with disadvantage. As a point however you don't just roll twice for each attack, you've got to use the 'disadvantage' slot on the roller for each attack.
Ex: 4 when I read the rolls for accuracy they'll say disadvantage and the roller sorts it out.
that's the same as rolling twice, and i only did it that way because i didn't know about the disadvantage earlier. also imma dwarf, your poison dart can suck it lol
Gauld-ram: Dwarves have resistance not immunity to poison meaning you still can take poison damage. You set off the trap because you didn't succeed the traps DC at avoiding setting off the trap. I'll meet you halfway and say roll a con save with advantage on taking poison damage! Also on the other rolls I disagree. I want you to use the disadvantage feature of the roller in future. That's how I play on here, face to face you'd roll twice taking the lowest roll would be used but here you use the roller's disadvantage feature!
poison resist means i take half dmg, 3 dmg is nothing to my hp, thus the suck it line. normally i would use the disadvantage roll feature, but i already rolled for attack and didn't think i should redo every dice roll, and an edit wouldn't have been noticed
Gauld-ram: No I don't want you to re-roll I said 'in future' use the disadvantage on the roller! Ok your damage from the one landed attack is noted but in the room it's still filled with the stinking cloud and although you aren't affected by its damage the mage is still obscured.

"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
