A tall, weathered and a bit battered looking young man, with pale blond hair and blue-green eyes stands up and looks over at the newly entered duo. He wears studded leather armour that seems to, no it is, smoldering slightly and a rapier hangs from a balderic slung to his left side. "Tha' thin'," he jerks his thumb at the drake, "Stalker did ye say? Do ye thin' it'll enjoy iron circles? I knows where we coold serve some oop t' it fair easy." He grins, "The name's Rory Ian McLeod III O'Lewis." With a slight bow, he adds, "At yer service, sor."

Blasius blinked at the man. "If it's meat he'll eat it. Heck, in a pinch he's had orc but nough bout that. Names Blasius, pleasure to meet ya," Blasius responded and returned the slight bow.
"Oh, they bes meat, inna Hoighlan's wes be namin' orcs 'n their ilk iron circles cuz when the laddies find'm thes be formin' up cicles o'protection, 'iron circles' ye see. Tehs be afeared o' Hoighlanders steel."
Sitting in a chair at a table in the safe house dining area, Wilm looks over the two newcomers. Wilm is a powerfully-build human with black hair and gray eyes. He wears a greatsword in a sheath down his back, the hilt in easy reach over his shoulder.
Blasius turns to Tim at his comment, "There is always trouble. I'd go with but my new friend here was going to show me where some meat is. If you can show me some along the way maybe we all go." He points out to Stalker, "Thing is, we don't have to wait for the meat to be cooked so it should be fast."
Tim exits the safehouse and heads to the poor part of town "The people here may not have all the inside information, but they may be more willing to talk."

Blasius calls Stalker over and follows along with the others. He walks beside Stalker, an easy hand resting the on the creatures neck as he walks. His eyes though, still dart about to keep weary of danger.
You come to a market. There are some questionably-sourced meats being sold at one place. There are some magic items of questionable authenticity on sale at another shop (if you buy something, roll a d20 if you get a nat 20 you get a legendary item. If you get a nat 19 you get a very rare item. If a nat 17 or 18 you get a rare item. if a 12-16 it's uncommon. If it's 6-12 a common magic item/potion. If it's less than 6 it's just an item.) There are fortune tellers, entertainers, and artisans.

how much are the items and did we new players get extra money for jumping in at 3 beyond character creation? If so I'd chance buying something with those odds if the price is right.

Tim goes to the market and strikes up a conversation with a meat-seller.
"Greetings, good sir. I have a question regarding the government of this city. How did the oligarchs take power? Why do you tolerate them?"
He whispers to Tim, nobody else can hear this.
They imprisoned our queen, they drugged her and put her in the prison... and then they threw away the key"
Then slightly louder, "I can't answer your first question," He looks around for guards "but as for the second one... because we're afraid!"
"would you like to buy some meat?"
"what kind is it?" Tim asks
"We have some Rat, some oppossum, some bear, a little bit of beef and some stuff that i don't know what it is, but it may be goblin."
"I'll take the goblin" Tim says, "not for me, for my dogs."
He pays 2sp and takes a goodly chunk of the "goblin"
Tim then hands some to his baby tarrasque and some to Blasius' "stalker"

OOC: You can have 120 GP and the item's prices vary, depending on the type of weapon, it's 125-150% of the price though.
