The blacksmith smiles as you leave. When you enter the forest, a tall, muscular man walks up to you and says in a British Accent "Ello, do you happun to 'ave some weapons to spare"
(I am not too familiar with the British accent XD)
Sitting on one of the slanted roof is a brown haired boy, about 20 years of age. Bandages warped around his hands. A bracer seems to be turning around his right hand, not made of leather or any substance, but the faint outline traced by red arcane energy. ( Unless this is my arcane focus, It will be for decoration. ) A staff stands next to him. He leaps off the roof in front of the party, and with a mischievous grin announces " Pardon, good sirs, but I heard you are looking for Igna."
Anthony him off sharply. "We're searching for Lissia, undeath is not something one wants to mess with, we must prevent this from taking place. After all it's a messy business, it is." In a barely audible mumble he adds, "and after today's events, I need a drink, or 3." fully audible again, he finishes "I don't suppose you could point her out to me, could you?"
Curtly and less exasperated than earlier, Halec promptly corrects Anthony and answers the boy. "No, you had it right the first time, sir, we are looking for Igna, that's the name of the witch the mayor directed us to consult. Who might you be? I'm Halec Abadir, an adventurer contracted by the mayor to recover the shards of the recently exploded relic, the Ruby Snowflake. Evidently aiding me in this endeavor are Rosemary, this lovely tiefling woman of the sea, Chazrael - do not ask him his last name - the fine halfling bowman you see there, this Yuan-Ti gentleman whose name I did not catch, and Anthony, the Dwarf, who may know something I don't. Who is Lissia? Igna was the witch the mayor mentioned. I was hoping she might be able to use some sort of divination to tell us where the shards went to. Maybe even who shattered the relic, if we're lucky."
OOC: Halec skimmed the boards, but when none mentioned the Ruby Snowflake he didn't take major note of their quests or the details thereof.
Halec notices the bandages on the young man's hands, raises an eyebrow and smooths his mustache. "Are you quite alright, sir? Your hands, are you wounded?"
"Let us get on with this! I'm tired of waiting, after all the more time we spend jabbering, the more likely we are going to die when this city collapses into the sinkhole. Let's go and search for these shards, so we don't all die!" Anthony Impatiently grumbles.
OOC: Anthony's Grandfather was turned Undead and he was forced to kill his grandfather, this is why he wants to go to the tavern, to spare someone the shame and guilt of having to do the same.

"I am in agreement, we need to locate the shards, that is the priority," Halec says. "Glad to know self preservation and the eventuality of a regional disaster brings out the best in some. That was the whole point of consulting the witch - to know where the pieces are." He gestures to the man with the bandaged hands. "This fellow seems to know where Igna, the witch, is, and I am following him there. I'm making polite conversation en route, asking his name, why his hands are bandaged, the sort of things you ask upon meeting a stranger with bandaged hands. Speaking of, I still wouldn't mind getting a name from you as well, Yuan-Ti fellow, if you're also joining us in this effort." Halec gestures next to the Yuan-Ti male in the brown coat.

OOC: Is this the forest leading to the witch?
“Eh, I am not sure I understand your meaning, sir. We have weapons. What do you mean ‘to spare,’ exactly? I’m afraid our arms and armaments are pledged to an important cause, as are we. This entire region has been imperiled by the destruction of the Ruby Snowflake,” Halec answers.
I offer him a pair of shortswords "I'll be needing them back laddie, don't attempt to make off with them."
Halec blinks, confused. “Anthony; while I appreciate that you’ve given up thievery and you’re turning over a new leaf, you have no idea who this man is or what his agenda is. Further, the entire reason we just went to the armory, err, blacksmith, was to better prepare ourselves for dangers in our quest to recover the shard pieces. Don’t you think you’ll need to retain your weaponry for that purpose? If someone intentionally destroyed the relic we should expect fierce resistance in our quest to restore it.”
"You gave up your life of thievery! You had a whole spiel about it, it was very moving, I think," Halec reminds Anthony. He then turns back to the muscular man they have met presumably while on their way to see the witch. "Sir, we really do have important business and we must not delay. For what reason are you simply asking us to turn over our weapons to you?"
"I could argue with that logic and try to define a difference between a donation and stealing, but I don't have the energy, Anthony," Halec says. "Now to the robust fellow who's asked us to hand over weapons without elaboration, please quickly explain yourself or move aside, so myself, and my comrades here, two of whose names I still don't know, can go see a witch about some relic shards."
"That is a fair point, actually. The question this man hasn't answered is why we would give, loan, or in any way grant him weapons," Halec says. "And I want still like to know who I am traveling with, if you'd care to introduce yourselves," he adds, directed at Call'ey and Ophiwalyn. "I know Rosemary has some experience as a sailor, Anthony is evidently a recently reformed thief who has taken up the warhammer as of late, and Chazrael is a halfling with a bow who doesn't care to share his last name. Evidently the six of us are the hope that Snakeskin valley is relying on to avoid complete destruction, we might as well know who we are working with."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Maybe you should give him some time to reply, he looks quite taken aback, and toungue-tied by your blistering stream of words." Anthony Sagely (or savagely) Advises.
Persuasion Check:10
"You've barely even given him time to open his mouth." Turning to the Brit I Continue "We're all ears my good man."
Halec grunts, and twists the tip of his mustache, then makes a circular gesture with his hand, beckoning either the muscular fellow, or his companions, to speak. "Quite right, Anthony. Rude of me. You're not the only one on edge, what with the imminent collapse of this valley and whatnot."
Halec makes eye contact with his mule, and grimaces, before replying to some unspoken dialogue with the animal. "You're quite right, Lady Helen. It would seem I have forgotten my manners. Just because the region is in peril it doesn't mean we have to act in a beastly manner."
The man immediately takes the shortswords "Thanks, mate. How about a deal, I get to keep ye shortswords, and I give ye this magice thing" He takes out a green pendant that has a pale glow in the jewel "This here thing is meant for guidance, its true power is unknown, like that Ruby Snowflake, but, I know ye won't be getting lost with this. Fair trade, eh"

00C: Lissia was from the second message on the board, the old tavern mission.
