Durk, your vision is murky, and you can't hear well. Your whole body hurts and you can't really move that well. It feels like you're drunk, but at the same time you're not.

I say slightly slurred

I quickly fumble around the bag looking for the bottle he mentions

You find several small bottles of healing potion. Do you give one to him? Each potion heals 2d4+2 hp.

after removing the stopper on the top, I tilt Durk's head back and put the potion to his lips slowly pouring it into his mouth "Easy now, Not too fast or you'll choke" I say in a soothing tone

(who rolls the potion? I assume it's me?

(It's fine. I usually use the roll of whoever administers the potion rolls how much it heals, fyi)

Durk, you get 8 hp back, and you start to feel strong enough to stand up, though your body still hurts.

"thank you Sawin and Talia, i feel like a fool for drinking that rum, i had a feeling it was tainted and still drank it anyway"

I say in a defeated tone as i stand up

"It's not your fault, they've been conning people for a long time,  that's how they kidnap people and traffic them.You're just lucky they didn't drag you off somewhere we couldn't find you."

"Not to worry Durk, a drink will make up for it later, but perhaps we should get you back for some rest." I say to the bard as I glance at Talia "What do you think Talia?"

"Yeah, let's get him back to the Sage and Candle, at least there we know we have rooms available. Come on, help me pick him up." Talia starts to hoist you up, Dur, and guide you back to the safe tavern.

"thank you both again"

i say as i limp and let the two assist me back to safety
