(back. if i leave again it's because my mom is talking to me about something.)
As you head inside, a hush falls over you all. The hustle and bustle of outside fades to a dull murmur, and all noises seem suppressed. Your footsteps pad silently on the dark wood floors, and the ceilings soar just as high as the cathedrals. Rows of tall bookshelves stand on either side of a central isle, which has long benches, as well as miniature versions of the lantern poles from outside. The decorated windows cast multicolored shadows on the ground, and you all feel a little more peaceful. Next to the door, on the right, is a gnome sitting behind a podium, writing in a large ledger. He's bald, with a bulbous nose and huge, thick, round glasses and a small mustache.
The gnome looks up at you with squinted eyes and a scrunched expression. With his glasses, his eyes take up about half his head. "Eh, what was that, sonny? M-monk practices? Aisle 35, row 2-A."
"What are you talking about, silly woman? He asked for monk practices, I told him. And yes, I may look blind, but anyone could see he has a monk's garb. Do you need help finding a book? If not, please stop disturbing me." The gnome looks a little irritable, his eyes squinting to a tiny slit.
I wander the row I was told the things I needed would be, searching for anything to help me deepen my practices or knowledge of monks from around the world.
"I apologise, it seems the monk spoke too quickly for me to catch his entire speech, I'm rather tired myself as well, do you have anything on the Progenitor's history? His religion has taken an root of interest in me"
I turn to look at the goliath "Good to know, Speak anything else?"
"Giant as well my friend, other than that I know of no other languages."
I take mental note of this for later, and continue into the library

I walk up to the gnome
"Hello good sir, are there any books or scriptures on monk practices in these rows of wondrous books?" I ask gently
"Thank goodness, some peace from civilisation, even if its inside a building" I say in hushed tones
(Back btw :3)
The gnome looks up at you with squinted eyes and a scrunched expression. With his glasses, his eyes take up about half his head. "Eh, what was that, sonny? M-monk practices? Aisle 35, row 2-A."
(Hi again, Sawin :3 )
"I shall head to this row, thank you kind fellow."
(Yeah i realised, for some reason it only loaded half of the monks speech for me)
I speak quietly to the gnome "Do you have anything on dream magic, and maybe anything on the kings of the past."
"That'll be in the legend and lore section, Aisle 254, row 3-F."
I wander the row I was told the things I needed would be, searching for anything to help me deepen my practices or knowledge of monks from around the world.
I bow in thanks and turn to leave for the isle
"I apologise, it seems the monk spoke too quickly for me to catch his entire speech, I'm rather tired myself as well, do you have anything on the Progenitor's history? His religion has taken an root of interest in me"
"Same as the Dragonborn, legend and lore section. Aisle 237, row 1-D."
