So, we're gonna pause there for the library, and go to Sawin.
Sawin, as everyone else leaves on their tasks, you head towards the corner of town, where you find the city headquarters. Guards are milling around, either getting off or on shifts, cleaning armor and weapons, or taking their break. The compound is surrounded by a tall metal gate, and two humans stand at the gate.
As you approach, one of them firmly says "Halt. State your business, citizen."
"My name is Sawin Ravenor, Im a soldier of Maplewood" I turn to produce the insignia from my pocket "This is my insignia and should offer you some proof, Have you heard of an undead army spotted near Eklevia? If not, perhaps you could inform me of anything untoward in this area or even of any bounties in the area?" (cant change my italics for some reason)
(It's a glitch that happens sometimes. Reloading the page usually works for me.)
"Yes, of course we've heard of that Aasimar Divinity laying siege to Eklevia. Why do you think all the guard is on double time. And if you're a soldier of Maplewood, what are you doing here? Surely you haven't abandoned your post?"
"My fellow soldier, the day I abandon my post is the day I die in battle"I chuckle lightheartedly "So as for that matter im assigned as part of a small party formed with the intention of guarding the Progenitors Maidens to their destination, does that satisfy your curiosity Guard?"
"We've ensured their safety of their journey and they have reached their destination, correct, now that matter is aside, we need some work to refill our rations and resupply our equipment, perhaps something you could help us out with?" I ask again impatiently wishing to regroup sooner rather than later (My character is quite impatient and has a sense of urgency when separated from her group, much like me)
"Well, we personally have nothing here to offer you, but there are multiple stores across the city that could use help. The forges are always open to employment, and if you still can't find anything the local gossip gathering is The Sage and Candle tavern off of the main street. People often post odd jobs for adventueres there, but it can also hold some... more, unsavory ones."
I thank the guard and take a sigh of relief as I make my leave ,quickly making mental note of the conversation, to regroup with my companions at the church.
(Thanks dude, sounds awesome. Can't wait to read)
