To Macawi Tarina says, “Cards on the table. I may 'ave taken more than me share o' the booty one time. That ain't a forgivable offence t' these sort. Took 'em nearly two years to find me.”
Tarina fervently shakes her head at Filvendor, “No way am I leaving. This Tavern be me best bet at anythin' near a fair fight. Half th' scallywags in here rather punch ye than look at ye 'n me old shipmates, Dead-eye and his crew, are known fer rubbing people the wrong way. As fer Alan, gold fixes anythin' wit' 'im, as long as ye keep yer hands off his employees that be.”
((Sometimes turning the phone sideways makes the dice rolling icon appear. I am also happy to have you roll an IRL d20 and just tell us what you got. I trust you. ;) ))
Journey says, “Well, we don’t have to kill her assailants. We could attempt to knock them out, rough them up and send them on their way. That’s my take on the situation.”
“A fight isn’t a picnic. Sometimes you get to choose where it happens, sometimes you don’t. Maybe we can warn Alan that it’s coming so he can prepare.”
"Tarina, You have decided to hold information from us about murderous cultists so we can kill your old friends because of your theft? I do not think that is a good deal. If this is about an unpaid debt, can a new payment fix it? If we might have to pay alan for forgiveness, why not pay this dead eye to go away?
To Ourick, " Maybe asking alan if there is a better place in here to have a discussion with murderers then the room might be a good idea. Also, I would like that giant person and the walking armor to be on our side. I can take a hit and give it... but I don't know if I could take one from them."
“In my experience, someone that wants a fight will find a way to get it. But if you think you can talk them into submission, I am willing to let you try.”
Tarina looks at Macawi with disdain, “I looted more than 650 gold from the crew o' the Uncivil Serpent 'n spent it all. Now Dead Eye is the cap'n o' that vessel. Killing me is about more than doubloons, it’s about consolidating power. My death will earn him the crew’s respect. I reckon my death be worth far more t' Dead Eye than what I looted.” With a droll smile she adds, “But, sure. Ye could try t’ offer him a thousand gold or more for my life. Of course, my choice would be to kill this evil slime and pay the 10 gold that a grumpy Alan might charge ye for clean up.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hahaha. Love, for someone that is asking for our help to not get murdered tonight, you so do have a lot of attitude." With a glint in her eye. "Tell ya what, you give us some names of cultists now, and you can give us what you know about the cultists after we deal with dead eye. The lord tyr give good luck to those seek redemption from past mistakes." Makawi has the closest thing to a smile on her face as she can get since she really doesnt have lips.
Tarina is clearly not persuaded and is starting to show frustration, “I don’t know names. I know where their whole damn hideout be!” She puts her hand to her face saying, “Just my luck. A bloody paladin o’ Tyr.” She slaps her hands down on the table rises to her feet and walks back to the window. While nervously staring out the window, she says, “Look, help me or leave me t’ think. But, if ye don’t help me and I survive, I will make sure Zodge knows how little ye did t’ try t’ save his best spy.”
Tarina starts to answer Journey's question, but she seems to be talking to herself rather than actually trying to give Journey information. “Uncivil Serpent needs 20 to sail. In Baldur’s Gate, would leave plenty o’ guards and anybody not good in a fight at the ship. Still, could be he brings …what… 6, 8 ,10 with him…hell… A few t’ cover the exists, the rest with him…two o’ so outside watching the windows and roofs… double hell!”
((Unless the party agrees to help her, any more questions for her will have to come with a persuasion roll to see if she answers.))
*Sigh*" "if you can give us a hideout of cultists, I'll help with you with your murdering pirate problem. Where do you want me and when are they coming?"
[Where our rooms are situated, are they above the front door or along the back of this building?] Journey will not decide to help until he knows their numbers. He will say, “I don’t like our odds if they have more than 6 of them. I don’t think I can take on more than one or two of them at one time.”
Tarina’s mood starts to lighten as it seems that the group is moving toward helping her. To Fil She says, “Of course! I will be looking to draw some blood.” She quickly gabs a dagger from her belt and tosses it into the air, deftly catching it with her other hand.
To Macawi she says, “I am not a tactician. But, I suggest that we use the tavern to our advantage. They could be here any moment.” To Journey she says, “If you don’t like the odds, then bend them in our favor. I am here because I thought that some of these drunks might be persuaded to join in if a fight broke out.”
((I am going to give each of you a chance to try to accomplish one thing before Dead-eye and his grew arrive. It should be something that could reasonably be accomplished in 5-10 min. Go ahead and describe what you would like to try to accomplish and I will tell you what if any rolls you need to make.))

I mutter a prayer to Kelemvor, cursing, and look to the others. "What do you guys think?"
Journey says, “Well, we don’t have to kill her assailants. We could attempt to knock them out, rough them up and send them on their way. That’s my take on the situation.”
[omg turning my phone sideways does show the bar.... I don’t know why I didn’t think about that]

“A fight isn’t a picnic. Sometimes you get to choose where it happens, sometimes you don’t. Maybe we can warn Alan that it’s coming so he can prepare.”
For Ourick:
It is hard for you tell. But, you don't think she is lying about anything.
"Tarina, You have decided to hold information from us about murderous cultists so we can kill your old friends because of your theft? I do not think that is a good deal. [ I would lake to persuade Triana, no deception.]
Persuasion: 9
Journey asks, “About how many do you reckon will be coming here?”
"I say we face these guys head on, but you better be helping us out, Tarina!"
*Sigh*" "if you can give us a hideout of cultists, I'll help with you with your murdering pirate problem. Where do you want me and when are they coming?"

"Journey, if you stay behind me, we will do just fine." Macawi says with a smile.
“I don’t think the odds sound so bad. And I’m itching for another fight. Let’s help the elf.”
Tarina’s mood starts to lighten as it seems that the group is moving toward helping her. To Fil She says, “Of course! I will be looking to draw some blood.” She quickly gabs a dagger from her belt and tosses it into the air, deftly catching it with her other hand.
