Everyone makes it back to the Portal for the night, exhausted from the day.

In the morning, as you make your way from your rooms, you see Leosin already seated at the same table with a coffee. The tavern is mostly empty this early, though people are starting to trickle in.

Phidi

Entering the common room the smell of what passed for coffee filled his nostrils. Phidi walks over to the table and takes a seat, ordering the same as Leosin as he passes the bar.

Wheeze leans down to say to Nute and Anyll.

”I don’t think we should tell the others what happened. It would only worry them.”

Anyll gives a look to suggest he agree before launching into a loud yawn and stretch, bidding everyone good morning and slipping in a breakfast order with Phidi's call for coffee. He sits, patting his hair down...

Nuté also gives a quick nod in agreement before joining the others ar the table, ordering a black tea. Once comfortable and reasonably awake he turns to address Leosin. So, what exactly is the plan for today?

Well, the brazen attack in broad daylight has moved our timetable up, and the discovery of a Red Wizard has troubled the council members. We will have the meeting tomorrow, and if you'd like to be in on the interrogation today, I can arrange it.

Arilla, "I would like to be there as well."

Anyll nods with Arilla's words, "Yes -  as soon as we can; I don't want to linger, as we're now targets."

Wheeze puts his hands in his pockets. “Well what are we waiting for?”

Leosin looks at Anyll, Nute, and Wheeze. Yes...some more so than others. But the prisoners are going nowhere. I have ordered breakfast for you already, and the Watch has been increased. You should be able to at least make it through a meal now.

As he finishes speaking, large platters of eggs, sausages, bacon, fried potatoes, ham, and quippers are served. Carafes of coffee are brought as well. Somehow, the table holds all of this without breaking.

"Oh, you shouldn't have," Arrila says, "This looks lovely thank you."

Phidi

Pouring himself another coffee, the elf takes a small plate of the offered breakfast items and sits at an adjoining table, eating quietly and listening to the others talk. Leosin's comment about targets makes him wonder what the others got up to yesterday. 

Manners filter Anyll's eagerness. He gathers a decent plate full and manages to pour himself a coffee before digging in; ears still keen on Leosin. 

Leosin lets you eat for a few minutes before leaning forward, not partaking in anything but coffee. No one has talked to the prisoners yet. They're leaving that for you to do, once I explained who you were and why you were here. Once we're done with that, we've got a meeting with the Watch Captain, and then you're free to do as you wish. I'll be here again first thing in the morning before I take you to the council chambers.
