Wheeze eats up and asks Phidi “so what’s you get up to while we were gone?”

"Not as much as it seems you lot did. Tell me, do I need worry even more now about what may lie around the next corner?"

"Whatever happens," Arrila says, "we'll stand behind you to help."

 “Oh, no. We never even found any of those people you were worried about. What were they called again?” Wheeze takes a big gulp of drink and stuffs food in his mouth

As you finish breakfast, Leosin stands. If you're ready, we'll head to the watchtower. You can decide who amongst you will take part in the initial interrogation, not all of you will fit in the room. Which three of you will it be?

Arilla stands up, "I would like to be there."

Nuté eats a light breakfast of  bacon, eggs and tea. While everyone is talking he seems oddly fixated on the position of the yolks on his plate as well as the lines within the Bacon. He is almost sure it means something but can't quite tell what. Focusing his energy on the food in front of him he tries to determine what it all means. 12 5 With the secrets of the eggs revealed, amd the devious bacon exposed, Nuté settles in for a day of averages. Interrogations aren't really my style. Too dirty. 

 Anyll also stands, "I would like to also offer a word or two, to see what we can get out of them."

“I can, but I’m not sure this sort of business is my forte.” Wheeze shrugs

We'll head over then. The rest of you may come to watch, if you wish.

Leosin leads you out of the Portal and through the streets to the Office of the Watch. He heads straight in and to a back room. An officious looking human in a uniform is piling up papers on his desk. He looks up as you come through the door. "Ah, Leosin. Are these the ones you spoke of?"

Leosin nods. These are the ones the council sent for. A few of them are going to try their hand at interrogating our suspects. He steps back and motions you in.

"Welcome. I am Captain Heatherton. I'll be accompanying you into the room, and will be a witness for the ones conducting the interrogation. The rest of you may watch from the window. Don't worry, an illusion has been placed to disguise the fact that it's a window. The criminal will only see the room reflected back to him. Sort of a one-way window, I suppose. Come along."

He leads you to another small room. Through a window in the wall, you can see the wizard that attacked you bound and blindfolded at a small table in an uncomfortable looking chair. He looks angry rather than frightened, and drums his fingers on the table. "The first is ready for you. Shall we?" He holds open the door for the interrogators.

Arrila nods and enters the room.

Nuté stands in the other room to observe, eager to see what the captured wizard has to say.

The wizard raises his head slowly. "Who's there?" He asks in a sneering voice.

"Arrila Evenwood," Arrila replies. "And you would be?"

He smirks. "Unimportant. So you're here to "question" me? Rough me up a little?"

Anyll suddenly makes an appearance playing with his amulet, his face and tone oddly chirpy, "Well, they may be here to do the 'roughing up' if you don't cooperate, but I'm here to keep you alive... Let that sink in."

The sneer doesn't drop from his face, but it does get a little paler. "Do your worst."

"Come now Anyll," Arrila says, "That's no way to interview someone."
