The dwarf looks at Treenja and says Do ye be plannin' on ignoring me suggestion then? There be no indecision, we be havin' a conversation.
When Treenja stalks off he says to the rest of the group Leadership be more'n tellin' folks what to do. I do be thinking we need leaders, not a leader. By me own reckoning there be two major components to missions like these. In combat with bandits and villains of all sorts such as those Dao alluded to when he was speakin', and the rest of the time not fightin' but travellin' and talkin' to folk and the like. Each of these require different approaches and skills. Here be me suggestion. If'n ye'd like to lead when we be in combat, directin' folks in their attacks, callin' for healin' and the like, then be raisin' yer hand. He'll count all the hands and mark them down on a slip of parchment with a small piece of charcoal from a pouch at his side. Now if'n ye be feelin' ye'd be good fer when we be talkin' ter folks and convincin' them to help us, or talkin' past them and such, raise yer hand. He will then mark them down as before. Alright then, we be gotten some people interested, and me thinkin is that we give each o'them a go and see what's what. We don' be knowin' enough of each other to be makin' decisions fer good o'er who to follow when the ferret's in the trousers. That bein' said, if'n anyone be havin' another suggestion I be hearin' from them but mayhaps we do that on the road afore the fuzzy one wets hisself to be off. Of course I be jestin' and fully expect some barb to be slung back me own way, probably about me height or general lack o'hygiene. I gladly accept the ribbin' in good spirit as mine is meant to be.
"I agree to all of the points he says, minus the fussy one. I will have my revenge, but not yet. I may hate the ocean, but on land I'm a good fighter with a greatsword, and an n excellent leader.
((I love this dwarf :), and yes I know multi-headed beasts exist, but Treenja hasn't seen them. ))
To Thoradin "Not be ignoring you, just think its a bad idea. You seen any two headed snakes? I haven't but I'd expect them to rip in half, if they don't bite each other first."

Thoradin nods at Treenja's words before saying I be understanding your concern, but that be not what i proposin'. Me thoughts on the matter be that we be havin' three leaders what share the burden. We have a tactician who be keepin' us focused in battle, a survivalist that be keepin' us safe when travelin', and a smooth talker to run point in social situations. They rarely overlap and therefore it be less three heads than a tool for each circumstance. That bein' said I be buyin' a round for all me new companions in the tavern should ye wish to join me. I think Treenja be right to leave first thing in the mornin' though so perhaps no overdo it, not everyone be havin' the constitution of us dwarves.
"I can be ready to go in the morning." Kellin agrees as he looks around. "I'll pass on the imbibing though, as I fear I am already too clumsy, I might burn the entire town down if I got drunk..."
Ignus doesn't raise his hand for any of Thoradin's speech, but does look up when he makes the "ferret's in the trousers" comment. A genuine smile comes over his face. "Ha! Wherever did you hear that, dwarf? It's quite amusing. I do agree with you in broad terms. The leaders among us will make themselves obvious when the time calls for it. And each of us surely has his or her own skills that will shine."
He carefully shuts his book and stands up. "I do think I'll join you for a drink."

Also, you may want to turn off "recruiting" for the thread. Just noticed it's still on.
((I will once we either get once more player and fill all 12 slots, or when the party leaves town. Though I doubt we will get that last slot filled up))
Treenja politely declines the offer and pats the package, “I want to keep a clear head. There’s only one reason I can think of that I would hire more than a few people people... Trouble...”

I mean, at this rate, anything's possible.
((I Yeah, hence why I'm giving that the time limit I did... JUST in case. Besides then things can get real insane))
Bo will stay at the inn with Treenja, partially because she only consumes food or drink on rare occasions and partially because since the first group left before she realized it, the thought of her walking through the streets of Saballi by herself is giving her a minor panic attack.
((Also since it seems like most people have finished their preparations for the trip, should we fast forward to the next morning?))
((Probably not. Dwarf + bar + booze could always = bar fight 🤣. Also, did a gelatinous cube just join the group? How does that work?))
((From what They've said to m over PM they speak using telepathy, and they smother their foes in their acidic bodies... If you want to know more you'll have to ask them when/if they come back))
((As for skipping the Bar scene... No we will not do that, as we all know crazy sh*t happens when anyone gets drunk... Don't believe me? Just look you Dingo Doodles on You Tube))
