You find yourself in the office of Richard Galder, the boss of Galder's Speedy Courier, LLC (from now on GSC). You made it here from all kinds of places, some within the city, others miles and miles away, some even in other planes of existance. All of you seeked employment, for again, different reasons and have gained a job at GSC. The first day on the job has now arrived and you made your way to the south shore park and inside ol captain keg's ship.
In front of you sits Richard Galder, looks to be in his 50s, almost bald, but with a voluminous moustache. He wears simple but clean formal clothes. "So, you all have found our establishment. how fortunate" he gives Helga a weird look "Now usually i'll let you decide how you want to do deliveries. but since its your first day, a bit of structure might be helpful." On his desk are 4 packets of different size and he pushes each of you a packet and distributes an envelope to each of you. "its simple, you go pick up the package, ive done it this time, deliver it to the destination, get a signature of the receiver on the documents"he points at the envelopes "and bring these in exchange for coin to the trader. I dont want to further stop you from working."
You have introduced your characters already, so that wont be necessairy. then this would be the start of your adventure. If you want to do some group things, add those here and once you want to start the delivery, just pm me your actions.
ooc: if you have questions, you can easily ask them in the playing thread or pm, just mark them with 'ooc' and maybe make them italic.
I give a friendly nod to all my colleagues and take the package. "See you back here soon. Thank you for the opportunity, Richard. And good luck, Alura."
OOC: @Treewy can we have a list with character name and position at gsc. Need to know who to talk to. Also, what is the budget of GSC at the current moment?
Helga nods in a business-like manner. “I can’t wait to impress you, Richard. You’ll be glad you hired me,” she says, smiling in a way that shows too many teeth.
Helga looks at her co-workers. She says, “No dawdling now. Time is money, and efficiency is next to godliness.”
Alura thanks Melias "You too. Keep you're ears open" she says with a grin. Then turning to Richard "Thanks you for the low down. Seems straight froward enough. I do have a question though. Have any of your past couriers had any troubles we should know about? Any sections of the city we should be wary of?"
"Well a few things of note. first, i like your motivation. second, for you all its still mr. Galder, but i'll look over it for now because of your optimism. And the city is relatively safe. At least around the guard posts."
"My appologies Mr. Glader" Alura says with a nod. "Thank you. I'll be on my way now" She'll pick up her packet and make her way out while opening it for instructions.
You all have had a successful first day at GSC.LLC. You delivered packages and finished all the documentation required to keep the business organized. You all finish your days by yourself and try to get sleep for your next day.
You find yourself in mr.Galders office again. The sun has just risen and lights the room through a open window in a orange tint. Have you all slept good? He leaves no time to answer and continues: Great, you'll need the energy, because today you'll get your first big delivery done. Sir Aldrech Brightsworth from Borso plans a celebration and for that he has ordered fresh fish. Fish that you will deliver. Fish that is packed on a cart and covered in ice this instant. The Fish is required by noon, so you have about 5 hours, while the ice keep the fish fresh for about 3 hours. Plenty of time to get the job done. You will find the cart at the northern docks. He slides an envelope across the table Well then, good luck and stay cool.
Helga reached across the table and takes the envelope. "Yes, sir, Mr. Galder," she says. "You can depend on us. I'll personally make sure that the merchandise makes it to the client on time!"
She turns to her coworkers. "I guess we're on the clock now. Doesn't sound like we can afford to delay getting this job done."
"I would like to get my horse first. How about I make a detour and finish up the delivery for Tanja Quille? I would then catch up with you on the way. Is that alright for you?"
The customer has already paid. another reason the delivery must go flawless!
You arrive at the northern port, mainly used for trade. there you quickly find the cart that way spoken about, already prepared with horses attached. You make your way to the gate where you meet Melias with his own horse.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hey, Alura. Do you know what is up with Richard? We were in a hurry, but he just ignored two of my questions out right. Do you know by any chance how much of a delivery fee we are talking about here?"

As she walks alongside the cart, Helga opens up the packet she took from Richard Galder. "He seemed angrier than normal," she said, agreeing with Melias. "Maybe something in this can tell us more about the delivery."

After returning Alura's grin, I leave the room, but do hear Richard referring to himself as Mr. Galder.
"My appologies Mr. Glader" Alura says with a nod. "Thank you. I'll be on my way now" She'll pick up her packet and make her way out while opening it for instructions.

Helga nods to Mr. Galder, grabs her package, and heads off to her delivery.
Run't finishes scratching his trunk and looks up at the empty room.
"Sir, yes, sir."
Grabs the last package and leaves.
Alura returning from her first delivery makes sure all the paperwork is in order and then takes a look around to see who else has returned.

ooc: with delivery fee i thought you meant what you get paid for the delivery. is that not right?

Ooc: I meant exactly that. Mr. Galder did not reply to that and the Quille thing.
ooc: i missed that then. Mr Galder nods in approval as you ask those questions. As long as it does not slow down the other delivery that is great.
