Ooc: Ok, got you. Then I'll finish up the other delivery and join the team on route. The delivery fee will probably be somewhere in the documents, so the dialog is still valid, just at a different location and time.
ooc: with his sentence mr. Glader intended to tell you that you dont need to worry about payment for the fish delivery, as it is already paid. i think you are now talking about Tanja Quille? that will be in the envelope that he would have given you in addition to the other one.
Ooc: I was talking about the fee from the fish delivery and wanted to know how high it is, whether it has already been paid or not. The fee for Quille is in the envelope and on Trello.
It is pretty much a standart receipt as you all have seen it the day before. It contains the name and address of the recepiant, object of delivery, cause for delivery and at the bottom it says
... by signing the customer confirms the delivery of the declared wares for an amount of 765gp... with space for a signature
The fish you are delivering is Redspeck Herring, a rare, tropical subspecies of the regular herring (no need to research, i made that one up)
"Well, that one we GOT to deliver. With that money, we could help the orphanage, restore our ship and maybe find out what happened to old captain Keg."
Ooc: oh, sorry. Thought something would happen after the perception check. Then it's all good, interaction coming up :)
I suppose that Melias went to the supplier and got the delivery fee for the last delivery and caught up to the group. Where did he catch up, at the gates or on the way outside of town?
"I was trailed by a person in a dark grey gown with a hood. I tried to shake him or her off and follow, but lost this mysterious human, whoever it was, in the midst of the busy town streets. How were your delivery runs of late?"
OOC: Sorry, the past week has been crazy for me. I was originally waiting for someone else to post before I gave Helga's next action. However last week my job announced major layoffs due to lost revenue from COVID-19. I luckily still have my job, but I'm now doing the work that two other people on my team used to do. I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to post regularly for the foreseeable future. I'm bummed, because I was really excited about this game. I just don't have the bandwidth to give it any more.
Ooc: That is unfortunate. I was also looking forward to playing with you in this setting. It is, of course, completely understandable and I wish you all the best in this challenging times.
OOC: My company has now announced a hiring freeze for the next year. I don't see myself being able to come back any time soon. I'm going to bow out so that it doesn't stop the game moving on for others.

"So what does it say?", I ask.

“It’s just a standard delivery receipt,” Helga replies. “I was hoping for something more interesting.”

Ooc: Are we still playing?
ooc: Well i was expecting some character interaction here to be honest.

After my last remark, I want to take out my map of the region and assess possible dangers of the route taken.
"I like an ordinary contract. On my first delivery run something strange happened to me."

Ooc: Echoo echo echo. Anyone here?
Ooc: Are we still playing? Can someone besides me please post.

We could also pause the game for a set amount of time and come back after things have cleared up.

OOC: That's a pity and certainly a difficult situation. I wish you all the best for your professional and personal life.
