Jirel, Zaf, Seraphina:  You recall tales of Baba Yaga’s intelligent raven allies who sometimes serve as her prophets. Three in all, they are said to guard the mysteries of the auspicious times of Twilight, Night, and Dawn, when the boundaries between the worlds blur. Legends often call the birds “The Liar Seers,” for they shroud their wisdom in tangled riddles and rarely offer any insight without demanding some sort of favor or task in return. 

Jirel, Jasun: You see that there's an amulet hanging around the raven's neck.

Jirel would look up at the Raven. As her eyes met theirs, she seemed to recall tales of these legendary Liar Seers. Noticing an amulet around its neck, the goliath would look to her allies to see if anyone else may have noticed it and it wasn’t just her eyes playing tricks on her. Not fully expecting to catch the attention of their knowledge seeker, she’d speak up before looking to the Sun of a Jasun. “That raven has an amulet right?” The blonde would grunt, pointing out something that could possibly be completely obvious. But it’s not like any worthwhile brains came from the barbarian anyway. 

“Why yes, you see it too!” he said, nodding. “Do I dare reach out and acquire it?”

“Can you reach?” Jirel would blurt before offering assistance “Want a lift?” She’d grunt.

The Raven speaks up as Jasun mentions taking the amulet. "This amulet is only for those who prove themselves worthy. Now what brings you to my chamber, interlopers?"

 Zaf rolls their eyes and then crosses their arms. "Again with interlopers business. Look, all I were try'na do is help Baba Yaga out of a jam. Presumably, given how we wound here in the first place, the first step involves taht amulet of yours. So, why don't we cut the shit, and tell us how we go about proving ourselves worthy, or at least one of us doing so."

“Baba Yaga is not here, but you can find her, never fear. First, however, you must persuade me you possess the strength necessary to bear my knowledge. My question is a simple one:

Born twins, they live not,
Yet they grow until death.
Their fates are of’n tied.
Ever-crescent, as the moon,
Symbols of the warrior’s pride.

“The answer to this question lies in the chamber beyond. Bring me the answer, and I shall give you what you seek.”

"Ooh, I love riddles!" Rose pipes up, then realizing she said that a bit too loudly, she shuffles back into the background, being the last to following into the next room.

Area A4

The walls of this wide chamber are lined with gray, lifeless trees and thorny tangles of brush. In the center of the room stands a gnarled and leafless tree whose outstretched branches twist like cruel, beastly talons. In here is a giant, ugly boar with black and red skin, and two large, curved tusks.

"Oh.... wait... It... no.. it can't be tusks, can it?" Zaf asked, genuinely conflicted over the notion.

Rose mutters the riddle again under her breath, running through it line by line. After a moment, she nods solemnly. “Yes, I believe it is tusks...”

"Then we should be careful not to break them." As Zaf spoke, he entered his starry form once more, and weaved starlight into bows and arrows. Both he quickly put to quick use!
