Apart from having simply nodded in acceptance Jirel's offer, Zaf refrained from any reply, seeming rather sheepish about saying anything on the matter. Even Rose jests gets little more out of the slightly feathered Winter Wolf than a throaty chuckle. When the reach the top, he's in no hurry to get off Jirel's shoulders, or certainly doesn't put any request to words after being distracted by the crows and their mysterious message. So either from up high or at the goliath's side, Zaf gruffly says, "Strange and cryptic as always. Could be we aughta take those with us as reminders, but... eh.. I leave to the rest of you. Before you move them, though, I note closely the order and pattern, as those items might make up the bread that created the crumbs."

Exiting the Dancing Hut brings you into a wintry region of snow-covered mountains. The sun is much smaller than it should be—it’s not much more than a pinprick of light, though still blindingly bright to look at—and stars are visible in the sky. While you are not immediately sure of where you are, you're certain that you're no longer in Iobaria.

"I was about to ask if this was Jezzika's doing, but..you're all here, too, and alive."he said, looking at Sera. "So, I don't believe it is.." he smiled. She did say she was busy with interlopers, and he smiled brighter knowing he could either a) continue to defy her and T'Vauz and take levels in Bard, or b) avoid risking total annihilation and keep learning warlocky things from Jezzika.

Zafwolfy at least answered with his head cocked to the side. "At least we do not wish to be, but fate has a funny way of ignoring the wishes of mortals." Is added alongside a brief chuckle. "But with such hopes in minds, perhaps you can a be of aid? We seek the son of Baba Yaga, who's name I hope rings a bell with you? And pretell, what is the name of these lands?"

"A two-headed eagle. Funny, our commander has that as a pet back in Spurhorn. Although I doubt that he'd be willing to let you see it at the moment, since he's trying to fight off a siege. Maybe if you helped fight the invaders, he might show it to you. Hell, he might even give it to you."

A wolfish grin splits Zawolfy's face. "Then it seems your commander has just found some allies... Though if there's a moment more we can spare, what can you tell us about this 'invaders', and how long it may take us to reach Spurhorn?" He asked curiously. "And that one of yours-..."He upnods the direction of the dragonhorse. "Do all your folk ride the scaled ones?"
"The majority of the invading army is made up of frost drakes and Triaxians who hail from the Drakelands. Spurhorn is a few miles from here, if we all ride my dragonkin, we should be there in less than an hour."
