Seeing Rose fall, Zaf doesn't even hesitate for a moment. He is half running and half flying his way over, and nearly trips over his own feet in all the hurry. But eventually, the Birb is there, palming her cheek and whistling a tune until his hand began to glow with a warm, calming light. Though he closed his eyes initially during the song, sensing her coming too, he looks, and greets her with his usual smiling eyes.
"My apologies, but I did not think this would be the best time for dreams."

Rose comes back to consciousness as the Spider King falls. The hunters gather around their unconscious comrade and tend to his wounds as the lead huntress sheathes her swords and approaches the five of you. You now see that she's an attractive young Ulfen woman with red hair. "Thank you for asseesteeng us. My name ees Nadya Petska, I can tell that you are not from here. Eet ees dangerous to be out here, there ees a storm comeeng. Come, we can take you to our village and we can talk while we travel." She stands near her dogsled as she awaits your response.

"Rose!"Jasun says, standing next to bird person "Are you ok? Y-"
Oh.
"A..storm coming indeed."Jasun says, suddenly mesmerized by the new visitor. "No, we are not from here. I am Jasun, son of..Halifax."he says, distracted, with a slightly silly smile.
Everything had happened so fast. She was fighting alongside her teammates, but then the spider turned its attention onto her, she having been able to take the hit, or so she thought. Soon darkness enveloped her, and she remembered falling... then she began to hear the most wonderous tune, it stirring her awake again. The firbolg blinks in surprise when she sees Zaf hovering over her, a palm at her cheek, but when it dons on her that she had fallen unconscious, her cheeks begin to burn in embarrassment.
"I-it's okay. Th-thank you, Zaf. I... I should've been more careful. I-I'm sorry for making you all worry..." Rose stammers out before working on getting back to her feet (thanking Zaf again had he assisted her up). The cleric gives the huntress her attention, but she seems to also be lost in her own little world as well, her gaze seemingly going past the woman as she spoke to them, though she shakes herself out of it soon after Sera speaks. "A-ah, of course, as long as I-- we don't impose... "

"What is it that you like best about me?"Jezzika, laying playfully on the bed, asked. Jasun, as usual, was trying to study, and did his best to ignore her. But, she always wore that dress. It was difficult to ignore. He had to remind himself time and time again, that she was not really Drow any longer, but something..much more. Something..no longer mortal. He deflected the question. "I'm trying to study, my dear."he said patiently. Jezzika rolled over to look at him, pouting. "You have plenty of time to study. Come play with me." T'Vauz knows he wanted to. He swallowed hard. "No, Jezzika."he said, his voice cracking. He cleared his throat. "No. I cannot. Our patrons are one, yet opposed. I..cannot be involved with you." "Oh come, now."she giggled. "Don't you want to hear more stories of the things i've done? The places i've seen? The things Umbra has showed me? By the way, he still doesn't understand why you chose T'Vauz, of all Elder Gods."She got off the bed and the next moment she had her hands around Jasun's chest, leaning into him as he sat at his desk in his chair. He could..feel her..pressed up against him. Her scent. The way her white hair felt against his cheek. This is going to kill me. His eyes fluttered in the thought of her..or was it his willpower breaking? "T'Vauz is different than Umbra, Jezzika."he said, neither returning the embrace, or letting her know how it was affecting him. "There must be a way to learn what they know WITHOUT selling your soul for it." She let go, amused. "Oh, is that what you think i've done?"she giggled. "Tell you what. Come with me, make me happy. Have fun with me and i'll show you more of what I know, what i've seen - the answers are so simple. The Gods will show you one thing. I can show you morreee..."she sang, tempting him. That dress will be the death of me. Why is it so perfect. Such a wonderful prize underneath. Just take it. Are you insane? "No, my dear. I cannot."Jasun forced himself to say. "I.." "Very well."Jezzika smiled. "Stay with your books. But one day you won't be able to resist me."she teased. "One day I will lose my patience with yoouu.."she giggled, and was gone.
Jasun sighed. Defying a Herald with the power to reshape the cosmos. I truly AM mad. Hopefully that day would never come. But..how I could keep pushing her away? I must be strong.
Nadya and her fellow hunters finish tying up some bundles on to their dogsleds before giving the order for the dogs to start moving forward. She begins to chat as you head towards the village in the distance. "So what breengs you here? We don't see too many outsiders een Irrisen. “Dangerous indeed, my dear!” Jasun agreed as he walked along. “A cold, strange mystery brings myself and my companions out here, so far. How I love a good mystery! If I am to be honest, perhaps we could discuss this further when we arrive at your village? Would that be too terrible to impose - you have already been very generous with your assistance, I must say.”

Zaf looked for a moment ready to say something, only to help Rose up without a word. Still, he kept near her, having noted her drift off, and wondering... The Druid dismisses the thought, and instead turned his attention back on the huntress as the group followed along after her. "I would not imagine that you do with such things in mind. Truthfully... if it we might ask first, what is your relations with the Queen? And do you know anything of storms having been increasing of late?" He asked, keeping an close eye out for any deceit from the strange woman.

Jirel would be concerned for Rose, though relieved when Zef would handle her with care, ensuring she was well. A small smile would crack her stone features. She'll remain at the back of the group to keep watch over the pack.
Having gone without the crafted words from the silvertongue to distract her, the sound of Nadya's accent found Jirel more entranced than she'd like to admit. The goliath would listen quietly and intently as they continued forward. Focusing on someone else talk was the best way to keep her mind from wondering there, to that place. Although this place had its own horrors in store for them, going forward was still better than going back.
Sera rubs her forehead as Nadya explains the situation. It was nothing new, of course, she remembered it all. But that didn't mean she was happy to be back under it. The white-haired woman lets the others talk and learn, and enjoys the one of the only things she did miss about Irrisen. The snow.
Her mood begins to darken. "The last time I went out to gather resources, Nazhena came to the village. Apparently my daughter said something een her presence that offended her, so she had her taken to the tower. When I got back, I pleaded for her to be returned. Nazhena said that eef we brought back a larger haul than ever before, she might geev her back."
