Jirel was beginning to get annoyed with Fiddlesticks and invisifriend(s). The barbarian will roar in frustration and grip her axes tighter, sending a wave of muscles rippling under her skin, peppered with goosebumps. Baring larger canine teeth, she'll charge.

Rose kills Tindlecrick and Jirel engages in some overkill. Now that they're dead, you hear the sound of a door unlocking and a woman comes running out. "Thank you for keeleeng off those creatures. They seemed to know my son, Garen." She takes a moment to gather herself together before going on. "You see, many years ago I had a treest weeth a satyr. Shortly afterwards, I gave birth to hees son, who eenherited his fey blood. I was ostracized from my village and as a result, moved out here to raise heem. When he came of age, he ran away. I guess that he felt that eef he had never been born, I would hef never been ostracized. Then those theengs came here, on some meesion to get revenge on the village that rejected him, as well as me. He tried to stop them, but they overpowered heem and took heem away before they vanished. Please, find my son!"

Sera grits her teeth as she hears the familiar story. "****." She rubs her forehead. "We'll find him."

Zaf is admittedly startled by the woman rushing out, and even more put off-guard by her straightforwardness. But once those feelings passed the eyes become narrowed at the woman. "We... help." He said with an odd bit of reluctance in the tone. "But Vanish? Become invisible? Or leave sight your sight alone?" He asked gruffly. "This I would know. And, do you have something of son. Something with his scent at least?"

"What does your son look like?" Jasun inquired.

"Eet ees easy to recognize heem. He takes after hees father. He has small horns, like a goat's, as well as the lower body of one."

You can attempt to track him with a DC10 Survival check.

Jirel will blink, hovering over a completely massacred corpse, breathing heavily. She'll look around frantically, swearing there were more enemies left. The shock of her overreaction would actually stump her. She'd grumble to herself to try to ignore the embarrassment. The barbarian will huff from her nose, relaxing her axes at her side. Her eyes will glance up at Rose before staring down at blood stained the snow. The goliath will approach her and dip her head towards her friend. "Maybe I need my head checked." She'd mutter softly, secretly longing for a gentle touch to calm her erratic behaviour.

Once taken a moment to tame the rage inside her, Jirel will step through the snow.

Rose was pleased with finishing the fight with her darts, however she's taken aback at Jirel's sudden rage, the barbarian mutilating the already downed enemies further than they already had been. "J-Jirel?" The firbolg would call, almost unsure if that were the same Jirel she knew. As the others had spoken to the person in the cabin, Rose had obliged Jirel's request.

(RP fluff roll) Medicine: 8 

First, she started with gently touching her head for any bumps or bruises that may have been otherwise hidden by hair, but she frowns at the lack of discovery. Maybe it had been the initial shock from seeing Jirel react the way she had that clouded her mind as she looked her over that she just wasn't doing a thorough enough job. She felt that there was something wrong, but her emotions were getting the better of her so she couldn't pin it down. That was it. 

"Well, I, um..." Rose bit her bottom lip. "I don't feel anything now, but that doesn't mean something isn't there. I-I'd like to check you again when we get some rest, if that's okay with you."

Jirel is able to spot some tracks that lead to a barn. There are some small footprints, as well as a trail that indicates something was dragged this way.

Jirel would lean into Rose's touch but wouldn't say much more. She'd simply nod in agreement when she'd let go.

The barbarian will point out the small footprints and relay the drag marks.

Without a word, Sera heads determinedly for the barn.

Jasun, too, follows the others to the barn.

In the barn, you find another one of the small, pale-skinned creatures holding a knife at a tied-up faun. It cuts the binds when you open the door and hands the faun the knife. "Go! Kill them! Get payback!"

"No! I don't want to!" The faun says, clearly not wanting to bring about more violence. 

The small creature doesn't share the faun's commitment to non-violence and attacks!
