Pietersite is glad he invested in adamantine armor, as it takes off the edge from the hard slam coming from a suite of armor. He turns towards it, and tries to give back what it gave.

Mia and Pietersite you both notice that your hits don't hit the armor itself, they don't go through the ghostly shimmer. Pietersite on your second attack sees the shimmer fade and the armor fall.
Seeing the situation is dealt with, Pietersite turns to Bones. "Did you witness where the spirit went? I really feel your idea of communicating with it was a grand idea. Common just didn't seem to do the trick, but I think I've heard that at least the modern Firbolg understand Elvish. Maybe that would work better", he asks.
"In there," Bones says as he points into the centre room. Then he shrugs, "Maybe, but I sadly do not know that one. Dwarvish, Undercommon, but not Elvish." He steps forward, carefully, to follow the Firbolg once more.
Following after Talinian, Pietersite says: "I was thinking something along the lines of 'Oh revered spirit, we would humbly offer you our help if you would have need of it'. You know, I too am fairly skilled in the language of Elves. I became good friends with a Half-Elf back in school, so my choice of a language elective was quite easy, ho ho!" A bit lower, apparently just to himself, he mutters: "I do wonder what that Lia is doing now days."
Talinian considers, then shakes his head. "While I understand this is your mission and we're helping with it, what if the entity accepts our offer of help and then asks us to help remove items from the museum, which is exactly what we're supposed to be stopping. Perhaps we should try to find out what the entity wants to achieve or why it is here."
Pietersite stops to think on what Talinian said, and then answers: "I... guess you are right. I may have been too quick to jump from 'thieves making away with priceless treasures' to 'wronged spirit in need of help'. Yes, I do think it will be best to ask for its side of the story first. Maybe with something along the lines of 'Honored spirit, we wish to understand your plight, if you would deem it appropriate to enlighten us'."
Talinian would have taken a more challenging tack, but nods and turns to the room and steps to the opening into the room. He wants a look inside before he says anything.
The ghost is, for a lack of better words, standing there, and letting out small sighs. He is looking around at the pieces of art on the walls in the room, examining them. There is one specific pieces of art that he walks back to after looking at anything else.
Talinian whispered to Bones. "Is that a real ghost or something more like a wandering spirit?" He knew the gnome had an interest in necromancy and the undead. These days, so did he.
Mia would observe the spirit longingly looking around, but specifically focusing on a specific piece. The warrior would walk up to calmly stand beside it, turning her head to look in the direction they are. She’d tilt her head in curiosity trying to decipher what piece it is, and what it could mean or represent before speaking out loud. “Are you the artist? Or an admirer?” Her voice was soft and genuine. “Does it have a sentimental meaning to you?”
The axe fades more, and is bearly staying aflot. It then takes its attack at Bones Attack: 5 Damage: 5
The sute of armor will take its two slam attacks at Pietersite Attack: 19 Damage: 5 Attack: 20 Damage: 5
