During the day, the prisoners talk among themselves - as much as is possible - and plan their escape. (OOC: Does anybody else want to say/do anything?)
Unfortunately, Ront the orc isn't telling the dwarf anything. Seems his clan was at war with a dwarf clan when he was captured by the drow, and one dwarf looks like any other one, so he's being a jerk to Eldrik!
The day ends as it has every other day so far and the prisoners are locked in the cell. Later that evening, after the food bowls have been collected Ront rounds up the prisoners he has selected/informed about the escape attempt – that is: Topsy, Turvey, Derendil, Jimjar & Sebastian (tbc) — and mutters quietly “we’re breaking out tonight just after the midnight shift change”. The lights dim but six of them do not sleep as they wait for the opportunity to break out. When the time comes Ront makes his way as quietly as he can to the door (Stealth = 7) and unlocks it. He then summons the others and they also as quietly as they can make their way out of the cell:
Derendil – stealth = 2
Jimjar – stealth = 13
Sebastian – stealth = 26
Topsy – stealth = 19
Turvey – stealth = 10
Unfortunately in what can only be described as an epic failure at being stealthy, Derendil manages to step on 3 of the remaining party members - specifically: 1, Eldrik 2 Izzrak and 3 Shushar.
The warforged standing against the wall was in an inactive, motionless state, appearing inert. But, rather than sleeping, he wasn’t actually unconscious and can see and hear as normal. Seeing the small group attempting to break out, he activates and follows them.
Turvy, scowling as usual, goes along with his sister. Topsy stops at one point, giving the remaining sleeping prisoners a worried look, but her brother pulls on her wrist to urge her forward.
Hearing Derendil Sarith wakes to see everyone leaving. He gets up and walks to the group. "if you all are going to be leaving you'll need to know the way around. I can help you there."
Izzrak wakes up at the sound of the commotion, aided by the sensation of Quaggoth ankle fur brushing against his face. Rather than sit up and engage directly with the goings-on, however, he lies there for a minute, silently observing. Seeing several of the other prisoners moving together as a group toward the gate, he slowly rises and begins following along, in a matter-of-fact manner as though nothing about this prison break strikes him as surprising, despite not having been informed of the plan ahead of time. As he walks along he closes his eyes and voicelessly mouths a few words in Elvish, as though in prayer.
Ront the orc produces the key he found and opens the gate to their cage. "Any of ya got a way to get these chains off? That will be helpful in case we run into any guards...either way, keep quiet and be ready for anything."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Topsy says, "Oh." She looks at Turvy. "You think we can give these manacles the slip?" The male grumbles, but the two attempt to quickly slip out of their manacles.
"I can do it no problem" pipes Sebastian from the back of the group. For those who look you see his hands grow thinner and his fingers more spindly. As his hands get smaller he simple slips out of the manacles, now he holds them in one hand as his hands return to their normal size. "All done. Now how can i help you all out of yours?"
Just as the group are trying to work out how to respond to Sebastian's unusual ability, they hear a horrible droning buzz echoing through the cavern, followed by inhuman shrieking. Suddenly alarm horns sound out as a pair of flying creatures looking like some sort of bird pursued by four giant insects fly into the cavern from the northern passage. The creatures swoop and buzz around, concentrating on each other rather than the drow. Caught off guard, the drow rush to defend the outpost from a possible attack.

Derendill is all good, I just wanted to clarify who is telling Eldrik the plan? I am assuming Ront was going to
I would also like clarification on who's telling Sarith and Sebastian.
Unfortunately, Ront the orc isn't telling the dwarf anything. Seems his clan was at war with a dwarf clan when he was captured by the drow, and one dwarf looks like any other one, so he's being a jerk to Eldrik!
Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?
Topsy would start with those she’s been on rock duty with, but won’t shy away from talking to others.
Communication?
At this stage, and as far as I can work out, the following PC's know about the proposed break-out. Well at least it wont be a surprise to them -
Nobody else is aware of any plans

Well I guess Eldrik will be winging it haha
What's next?

Hearing Derendil Sarith wakes to see everyone leaving. He gets up and walks to the group. "if you all are going to be leaving you'll need to know the way around. I can help you there."
Stealth:9
Eldrik stirs from his light sleep and decides to join and follow the group.
Stealth: 8

DM:
Can Ändern (Sebastian) use his changeling abilities to make his hands smaller to fit through the shackles?
Topsy says, "Oh." She looks at Turvy. "You think we can give these manacles the slip?" The male grumbles, but the two attempt to quickly slip out of their manacles.
Topsy DEX: 10
Turvy DEX: 10
EDIT: Doesn't look good.
