(It appears that the flames form a perfect semi-circle from floor to ceiling. They touch the top and he would likely get burned trying to go over them.
Think of putting your hand at the top of where a fire reaches. It's still very hot and you're probably going to get burned.)

“it is a detect evil and good spell.” She meet the acolytes stair. “I don’t doubt your words, but we were told that there are evil spirits who is trapped in here, so I’m just making sure none of them is behind it. If what you say is true and it is those outside who is the bad people, we might help you.”
“I can heal you once you have gone through the fire and I can bless you so that the chance of you getting through with minimal damage is higher, but I can’t put the fire out with magic. Sorry Si’Juul.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Perception: 18 Twitch is trying to take everything in the room in. Is there a table or pews and some drapes or other heavy cloth? What about water?
Twitch follows Si'Juul up to the second floor. Seeing the ring of fire blocking off the door, she searches the room, before her eyes settle on the altar and the statuette. With a vague glance towards the heavens she murmurs a "Gods forgive what I'm about to do..." and then turns to Si'Juul.
"Can you help me to try and puch the top slab of this altar or the statue into the fire? The marble won't burn, and we'll have a small gap between the flames to get through. To make sure we don't catch fire, we can try to soak this cloth and wrap it around our exposed skin as we hurry through the flames. What do you say?"

Elhanna's spell reveals nothing to her. It seems that the acolytes ars just acolytes.
When searching the room Poinki stubs his toe and that causes him to be quite distracted. Twitch on the other hand manages to see two things.
Placed on top of the altar is a silver vial with a cork stopper. Peering into the vial she can see a swirling mass of leaves and sticks, just like the outside of the tower.
She also sees words written on the bottom of the angel statue that appear to be a riddle. "I pass in front of the sun and the moon, but I never leave a shadow."
Poinki has to withdraw his hand quickly. Though there is no smoke or heat from standing near the fire it suddenly becomes very hot once he gets too close.
"I'm wondering what would happen if we smashed this vial... And what passes before the sun and the moon, but doesn't leave a shadow? That's the seasons, right?"

Elhanna holds her spell and join Si’Juul out with the others, just making sure that they aren’t some hellspawn. Once confirmed that they are in fact humans she walk back to the acolytes. “Do you know why he has set up a fire barrier on the other floor? What exactly is father Ephesian doing?”
With the acolytes present, Twitch grumbled slightly. They wouldn't just accept her tipping over their statue, she took it. "Do any of you know what this riddle is here for, and what this bottled wind is doing here? Before I unleash a tempest in here, I want to know with what forces I'm dealing with." She had never much liked magic, relying much more on her intellect to tinker her way out of problems. On a day like today, that seemed to only further confirm itself.

"Perhaps Ilmater judged that you were the right people." He says with a shrug. "As for the vial I have been told that it is a smaller version of whatever is protecting us outside. Beyond that I don't know."
He then stoops to look at the riddle. "That's something I haven't seen before. Maybe it opens something somewhere but I don't know. The wizards who used to own this tower were fond of riddles and puzzles as a way of hiding things."

"Hey Elhanna! Can you do something about this?!"
Poinki examines the altar and the angel statue. (Investigation 1)
Nothing makes any sense to him. "Maybe make offering to Ilmater?" he suggests. He doesn't have much to offer, though.
