"I think we found the right answer to the riddle, but I've got no idea what to do with that now. Poinki, if you feel up for it, do you wnat to see what happens if we open this bottle?"

Poinki nods. "You want Poinki do it? Open by fire, maybe wind blow it out." He picks up the bottle, moves next to the fire, and tries to pull the stopper.

Twitch stands way back, but still curious to see what happens.

"So far, every time we find something like this, you just have to say the word in front of the writing and the compartment opens." 

When Poinki pulls on the stopper he finds that it moves easily and then he is pushed a bit back as the spell inside is release. A whirling mass of wind tumbles out of the vial and over the fire, extinguishing the portion that Poinki points it at. After a minute the flames begin again, slowly building back up to their former height. When Poinki replaces the stopper he can see that the spell inside seems to be just as strong as before.

(Was the outer wind barrier affected at all when Poinki opened the bottle?)

(There is no effect on the outer winds.)

"Have to jump through fast!" says Poinki. He opens the bottle again, and if it works to extinguish the fire like before, quickly passes through the extinguished spot to enter the middle of the ring of fire.

"Could this be the answer to the riddle as well? I guess wind passes before the sun and moon without leaving a shadow too... Ugh, I'll have words with whoever wrote this riddle, it leaves far too many options open. Anyway, if you're ready, Si'Juul, ELhanna, we can make our way through the barrier. Poinki, you follow us with that bottle. I want to know we can get back if we need to."

”Let me just bless us before going through, it would be bad if we all get hurt from lack of preparation.”

"Seems like the only way to get through the flames without burning a few feathers. I can't carry everybody at once."

When Twitch says the word Wind in front of the statue a click can be heard and a small compartment at the bottom of fhe statue opens.

Inside is another small silver flask. This one has a more intricate design and hosts ruins in a language that none of the team recognize.

Poinki passes through the spot where the flames have been extinguished easily, making his way onto the stairs.

Twitch grabs the flask and quickly follows Poinki along, before spending some time studying it in more detail.

Investigation: 17

Inside the flask Twitch sees what almost seem to be spirits. There's also arcane energy inside that seems to almost reach up and pull down any spirits that get too close to the glass. 

Very carefully, Twitch opens the stopper to this second bottle as well, ready for anything.

Nothing seems to happen.

"When Poinki opens the fire next, you go Elhanna. I might not risk the jump. Carrying some very flammable materials here. If you guys can get rid of this flame wall or get someone else to, then I will be right with you as fast as I can."

Poinki continues playing with the wind bottle until everyone is able to join him on the stairs.

Elhanna join Ponki and Twitch on the other side when the fire let up. “Good job Ponki, that was some good problem solving you can up with.” She pat him lightly on the head while she take in the new room.  

“We are through now Si’Juul. We'll continue to look for father Ephesian, you can keep an eye on those acolytes. I couldn’t find any trace of demonic or evil aura on them, but they may still be up to something. Also, keep and eye on that paladin and priest outside. I don’t quite trust them yet.” Elhanna call to Si’Juul over the sound of the fire. 

"I think those so called 'acolytes' are just naive and in over their heads, brought into this with honeyed words and empty promises. They weren't even informed about anything the one they chose to follow is doing. He considers them merely pawns, mostly useless. If they're useless to him, they're useless to us. As for the other two outside, well I can't follow you all up and watch over them at the same time, so pick where you would like me to be."

Poinki shakes his head. "Not know who is trouble here. Father Ephesian or other Ilmater people. But we talk to Father Ephesian, find out." He starts going up the stairs.
