Poinki shrugs. "Final price would depend on condition of building. Must be inspected first. Looks perfect on outside, but sometimes inside not so good."

Elhanna refuses to make eyecontact with this "filthy" commoner, making it clear that her subordinate is speaking for her. She lean in to whisper to Ponki "Toss him a gold coin to keep his attention" and she cast Guidance on him.

Poinki nods, and hands one gold to the stranger. "My lady would realllllly like to look inside at condition and floor plan," he says. "Maybe five gold, just to look." Persuasion 12 plus 3

Si'Juul had completely halted all movement and is keeping perfectly still while he listens to everyone on the ground, but taking another look down in through the window on the roof.

Perception: 20 total

The brute, not the brightest of fellows at the best of times, seems to be utterly confused by Paren still failing to evade detection as he attempts to press against the wall, and the strange duo before them. Eventually though, as Poinki produces a gold coin, greed takes over. "Need t'ask tha boss. Wait here!" With that, he turns to head back inside, giving Paren a chance to escape.

Si Juul, as the attic is a seperate floor, you can't see anything going on, but you have been in enough scraps to recognise the sound of tables being pushed out of the way or being pushed over to function as cover. You freeze as you can make out the sound of several matchlocks being readied. You focus, and think you can make out five or six match locks, though some of those might be people with multiple pistols. You can also smell the scent of the burning matches, indicating that the mercenaries inside are ready for a fight.

Paren makes his way away, cursing his rusty skills as he does.

Once the man walks back inside, Si'Juul waves his arm to get his friends' attention, then taps his holster and holds up all five fingers then points down towards the building.

Elhanna takes this opportunity to cast bless on determine that she can see. Then she mouth to Paren “What’s the plan?” 

Paren just gives an exaggerated shrug.

"Just maybe getting in, snooping around, for now," Poinki says. "Maybe we find out something useful. If not work, then we need bigger plan."

Si'Juul whispers down to the group before the butcher returns.

"There are at least five gunmen inside. I heard them shifting tables for cover. They are primed to fight. If you go in, be extremely careful."

The brute returns, looking mournful: "Sorry, tha boss don't wanna sell an' has no interest in showin' ya the place. Mebby another time." He looks hopeful that you'll reward him with a further gold piece. He doesn't seem to have noticed Si'Juul on the roof.

Noticing the wistful expression, Poinki tosses him another gold. "He change his mind, or you hear any interesting news, you let us know, right? You can leave us message at..." (He gives the name of the tavern where they are staying.) "More where that came from for any useful informations. Important to know what going on in town. Everything effects business."

Elhanna nod to the man, turn around and start walking away. When she here the door close she will find a place to hide where she and ponki can keep a look out. 

“oh gods in heaven Ponki! That was so well done! Your common is almost perfect now! And your lie! So clever! But what will we do with Paren? He is still inside.”

OOC: I can only agree with gosset92/Elhanna! Some seriously quick thinking on Poinki's part, and because it was played including the accent, I am awarding inspiration for that!

The brute gingerly picks up the second piece, a large grin on his face: "Thanks, will do! Have a nice day!"

You easily find a spot a few dozen yards away. From where you are, you can still see Si'Juul cowering on the roof, and Paren in a nearby alleyway tryign to stay out of sight. Several minutes pass and nobody is leaving the warehouse.

Si'Juul and Paren you can make out talking from inside, though you're unable to make out what exactly is being said. If you wanted to get away, now seems like a good time, as the people below are seemingly distracted.

Paren beats a hasty retreat. Once he's out of earshot he gives a good long string of curses in elvish, mostly berating his own feet.

Si'Juul flies up off the roof, gaining some altitude and keeping watch on the building below.

Once at 50ft he looks to the group and motions to follow him. He lands on the street a couple blocks away from the warehouse.

“So let us not try that again. That guy wasn’t the brightest but i don’t think the he will fall for Ponkies realestate schemes again. So what now?”
