Elhanna is Down and unconscious 

Yep, just Twitch up and able to go: Paren spent his turn patching you up.

Twitch was horrified at seeing so many of them brought low by the rats. Looking for the nearest way to get off the ground, she throws one of her daggers at a giant rat, and preparing to slash at any rat that clambers up on the crate she is currently sitting on top of.

23 for 3 for thrown dagger.

8 for 6 for stabbing any rat that clambers on her crate. If applicable at all, 4 for sneak attack

Twitch pins the second-to-last rat to the deck with her dagger, and your allies swarm to finish them off:

Ogg: Attack: 18 Damage: 10

Eenrit: Attack: 7 Damage: 6

Rugat: Attack: 9 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Boogar: Attack: 6 Damage: 4

It was a messy fight, but the cargo hold is now rat-free!

Ogg sighs, then starts to gather up the goblins again.  He stops, a look of confusion on his face, as he says, "One, two, three....four?" He counts the goblins several times, scratching his head, then shrugs and stuffs them under his arm again.  He picks up the unconscious Elhanna and Si'Juul under the other arm and walks aft out of the cargo hold, looking back at Twitch and Paren. "Come back for you," he says.

(Curse my forgetfulness. :P)

Twitch just lets herself roll onto her back, exhaling deeply: "Phew... and here I was thinkin' today was going to be a day like any other... Paren, what's up with that mask of yours?"

While Twitch and Paren chat and wait for Ogg's return , Elhanna and Si'Juul revive to find themselves lying comfortably and completely healed in a large cabin with several bunks, and holy symbols painted on the walls.  A desk hold several empty vials and potion-making ingredients.   Ogg is already gone, and the goblins are here, also fully healed. Poinki is running and hopping around the cabin joyfully, and jumping on the beds.

A tall, beefy blonde human woman is standing with her hands on her hips, looking down at you sternly. "I thought it was another deck brawl, until I saw the rat bites. Really, what possessed you to go into the cargo hold without asking me for help?  Twitch ought to have known better, at least."

She rummages in a crate and tosses you each two healing potions.  "If you're planning to go back, better hang on to these. Ogg might not be around next time."

She gives the goblins a suspicious look and adds, "I don't remember any goblins being on the passenger list."

(By the way: Everyone goes up to Level 2!)

Si'Juul immediately checks his belongings to make sure everything is there. Afterwards he pockets the potions into one of his pouches.

"Don't mind them.....they are just happy to be alive......"

He then calmly walks past her and makes his way back up to the deck, and goes right to the spot on the railing he was in before. Only instead of standing and gazing out to sea, he is crouched with his head bowed and eyes closed, arms crossed over his chest.

Paren pulls the mask off of his face and looks down at it for a second. "It's something the order gives us when we go out into the world. While we try to be healers there are always those that we can't heal. For them we are simply a mercy at the end. It's easier for tthem to not see a face when it happens." 

Elhanna look around in wonder. To think that she'd meet another healer here. "I'm sorry" she say to the woman "I'm Elhanna by the way. I am a healer as well." she takes a pause "and I only have my self to blame.. you see, I'm a freeloader on this ship. I snuck aboard to get away from some persuers and the ship ended up leaving the docks before I did. The captain told me that I could earn my self a ticket by helping cleaning up in the cargo hold. But who knew there would be so much danger down there.. As for the goblins, that is Eerit and Ponki and Rugat and Boogar." she point at each of them. "I don't really know what they are doing here to be fully honest, but I managed to befriend them in the cargohold."

Twitch nodded silently at that, not really knowing what to say. Changing topic, she said: "I'll head back up onto the main deck, wanna join?"

Up there, she'd look for Elhanna, the intriguing priestess. She wanted to learn about the language she used to speak with the goblins, perhaps next time she could convince the goblins to lay down their arms before she'd have to hurt them.

Multiple thoughts and questions racing through Si'Juul's mind. His wings curving forward to cover himself from the front. He spends the next several minutes like this before rigorously shaking his head and standing up, still perched on the railing, regaining his composure.

Paren puts the mask away and follows along behind Twitch. He walks back over to the Captain. "You really need to clean out below decks sometimes Captain. Lots of mean things down there. But now it's all taken care of. So I believe that means our little friend can stay, yes?" 

Si'Juul walks up behind Paren and says to the captain,

"Not to mention our pay...."

(Just noticed the typo in the name, damn autocorrect :P)

Paren throws a hand up over his shoulder, pointing a thumb at Si'Juul.

"Good news, if it's true, and your friend has certainly earned her passage, if you have finished.  OGG! Is that true?"

The big orc had gone back down to the cargo hold to carry the two of you up to the sickbay, and had followed you up onto the deck instead when he saw you leaving. "Yup. No more rats or spidies. But....Ogg broke some water barrels and cargo stuff by mistake."

The captain sighs.  "Very well, be off about your duties, then.  Slithizz, check the cargo hold for damage." Turning back to you, the captain smiles. "It seems that I do indeed owe you your pay.  Twenty gold, was it not?  And very well-earned! You seem useful sort of people, perhaps we can do more business in the future." He tosses you a small sack of coins.

"I don't recall discussing a price, and considering we were doing YOUR job for you, and with everything we found down there, 20 does feel quite short. But then, I have learned not to expect much from you."

Si'Juul takes his share of the gold and returns to his spot on the railing once more.

Once the four goblins see that Elhanna is healed and awake, and speaking their names, they rush to her and hug her affactionately, chattering all at once--greetings, and Poinki pointing out that he can walk again (doing a little dance) and all of them clearly very pleased to be healed and alive.

"Ah, so you're all stowaways together than," says the woman. "Be careful, the captain is a terrible cheapskate, and will get all the work he can out of all of you. In any case, he'll throw the critters in the brig, or possibly overboard if they don't earn their keep. Maybe I could put a goblin or two to work down here, and Dottle could probably use a hand in the galley.  Do you boys speak Common?...................It seems not. Well, then you might have to find work for them.  Or maybe ask the First Mate.  Trillia speaks a little goblin, I think."

"It's good to meet you, Elhanna,  I'm Helga Sweetbriar, follower of the goddess Criominy. I signed on as the ship's healer and cleric, in exchange for my passage north.  The gods seem to have seen fit to delay my journey, though."
