Twtich is going to investigate the other door, trying to find out where the voices came from and probing a path further into the crypt.

As Twitch enters the other room he sees three stone coffins. One is regular sized but the other two are smaller. The slab from the top of the larger coffin has been moved aside. 

At the back of the room is another set of stairs, leading down.

Poinki is down and having visions of ZIlmater....

OOC: Twitch is a lady :P

Twitch carefully inspects the opened coffin, to determine whether it housed any creatures they were just facing. Once satisfied, she would start to sneak down the stairs in the back of the room, relying on her darkvision to guide her through without the need for a torch.

Si'Juul will follow Twitch using his goggles of night.

"Although I am always in favor of the element of surprise, I think it's pointless by now. If whoever is down there still doesn't know we are here, then well, they deserve to be caught."

Twitch motions with a finger over her mouth to keep the noise down, before saying quietly: "They may know that someone is here, but they still won't know where  exactly we are or when we strike. They won't be completely unawares, but we might still manage to get them in a less than ideal position."

"Best make sure everyone is ready though. Poinki wasn't moving much when I snatched him away from that thing. Almost killed him."

(Do I need to go on making death saves now that we're out of combat?  If so, how often? 6)

(I have a healing potion. We can say Si'Juul fed it to Poinki, if possible. Unless something happens beforehand.)

Nothing comes up at you and the halls stay silent so the health potion could easily be done. 

When Twitch inspects the coffin SHE (sorry!) reads a small inscription.

Poinki picks himself up from the floor gratefully and thanks Si'Juul before turning to search the defunct undeads for anything interesting that might have been on them. (Investigation 12 )

The zombie had a greatsword and a chain shirt. The skeleton has a greatsword.

"I might have found a piece of the puzzle..." Twitch says with a worried note to her phrase. Seeing Poinki back on his feet, Twitch slowly and carefully descends the steps, trying to be as quiet as possible, while straining her eyes and ears for any movement or words from down below.

You make it to the bottom of the steps without incident. At the bottom of the steps you see more coffins and again some of the lids are removed.

To your right is a set of double doors, slightly ajar but not enough to make your way through. A bit of light leaks out and you hear a frantic voice. 

"It will work...It has to work....I need to learn more. Practice. Study harder!" 

Si'Juul makes his way down with Twitch. Very softly whispering,

"I say we just rush in and catch him before he does anything else. Your thoughts?"

"Maybe we can talk to him instead? He sounds intelligent, there's a good chance we might be able to reason with him."

You sense that Twitch has serious qualms about harming another intelligent humanoid, and are reminded of how she tried to knock out, rather than kill, the goblins on your ship way back.

(Sorry for my absence, the pregnancy is hard on my wife and I have to pick up all the work at home :O I’ll post when I can, but it might be quite infrequent from now on.) 

“I’m with Twitch on this one. Just let me take a look at your wounds first.” Elhanna whisper and take out 2 healing kits. One for Si’Juul and one for Ponki. 

Si’Juul gets: 9 hp

ponki gets: 12 hp

(Si'Juul never had a ship. :P )

"I never said anything about hurting the man, I meant we prevent him from doing anything else. We don't have to kill him to do that. But that's up to him, if he gives us no choice. Regardless what happens, we can't allow him to make more undead creatures."
