Mabellis continues scribbling info down, barely giving the newcomer a glance. So there's a wizard too? Rootwood and the sprites didn't give much hope that this will be a safe trip, but to be honest, this only piques more of Mabellis' curiosity.
"Mabellis," she says to Drono. "And I'm also curious about what brought you here close to the fairie mounds. Were you also hunting orcs?"
She looks to the rest of the party. "I'm ready to go whenever you guys are."
Elias decides its best to calm his nerves, and instead takes in the wondrous natural beauty of this new plane he found himself in. ignore that faerie's indifference... it'll be fine.
as an offhand comment to no one in particular, he asks "I wonder what this Fae Wizard is like...?
Must be hard, living on the border of good and evil, always surrounded by conflict..."
Then he gets a little idea and looks towards Aiden, "Do you know what wizards like by any chance, you seem the type? In case they're not cooperative or hungry, we're a pretty lost cause, so please humor us. It'd be good to have a plan before we arrive unannounced to demand aid, anyways."
“I know a bit about wizards yes,” Aiden said, “ As to what we can do if a wizard doesn’t feel like a cooperative, it depends on what the wizard is like” He knew nothing about this fey wizard, so Aiden wasn’t sure if he could give Elias a satisfactory answer. “In general we should be careful about making demands some wizards can be quick to anger also don’t underestimate them even if they look weak they can still be very powerful, that said if he refuses at first we may be able to change the wizard mind, but he might want something in return for his aid.”
"A deal as in a trade?" Mabellis wonders aloud. "I do have a potion of healing from our employer. I'd rather keep it in case we get in trouble, but I'm willing to part with it to exchange words if need be."
"They certainly do seem to love making deals.... We should be very careful of what we agree to, or we might end up in more trouble than we already are."
He scowls briefly. [Anyone who speaks sylvan, and overheard, likely realizes he's thinking of the sprite's words.]
Considering the potion, he agrees with Drono; "Yes, those potions are certainly useful in dire times, but the Wizard may need it more than us. Those berries I make aren't just treats for the Fae either, they're quite effective at staving off death. That's why I had handed them out originally, for first-aid."
"So its just a matter of price were settling on then? Let's figure out exactly what we're asking for, then what seems a fair price for it. Well hear what they suggest, and we counter offer. Simple business."
He folds his arms across his chest, smirking and proud that he sounded so smart.
Elias mutters a quiet incantation and readies a Produce Flame over his palm, and holds the launch action for when they come in range aggressively, or if his companions charge into combat.
As the flame appears, he finishes chanting, and whispers to his friends: "Everyone get ready for a fight.... But let's not be too hasty."
Aiden watched the hobgoblins charge the group “Well we were going to be attacked sooner or later” the wizard said with a shrug readying himself for the fight.
OOC: yes you all have your weapons
“Oh, yes I forgot to introduce myself, I am Drono crusader of the conquest oath”

“I was hunting Orcs then I came across this mound then got sucked into it”
As the group heads west out of the woods, you can see that the sun is stationary low in the sky making it seem like it is always twilight.
As you head on, you see smoke up ahead coming from behind a few hills.

Nick agrees with Aiden,
"I would say pretty safe to assume everyone here wants to make a deal or a sale of some sort."
"A deal as in a trade?" Mabellis wonders aloud. "I do have a potion of healing from our employer. I'd rather keep it in case we get in trouble, but I'm willing to part with it to exchange words if need be."
“The healing potion won’t be needed with me around. I posses certain healing abilities”
