Heishe: The creature she describes bears a striking similarity to the automatons that sometimes march in the Day of Wonders parade, as anyone who has lived in Waterdeep during the fall season knows. The temple of Gond puts this parade on.
Heishe frowns as she rejoins the others. "It seems a Gondian automaton may have been behind the attack. Which of course begs the question of who was controlling it."
Lu-lu nods sagely, “Well if you find yourself in trouble or see anything real suspicious, I am a knight of Aster, and I live right over there.” She points back at trollskull, “I’m always happy to help.”
She walks back to the group, handing Heishe the necklace, “kid over there was here when it happened, hid by a water barrel, heard this plop in from the rooftop AFTER the explosion.” Lu-lu stretches wide, still trying to wake up. It takes a couple moments before her eyes open WIDE, “Wait!” She looks around the Alley, “There was an EXPLOSION here?! How did I not notice that?! I thought something bad happened, but I didn’t realize it was THIS!” She points at the grim scene.

"Looks like we're paying a visit to the Temple of Gond, perhaps."She said out loud, thinking. Then she noticed something. "Wait a second. Lu-lu, what is that?"
“I already said, the kid over-“ Lu-lu looks around to spot the kid, (probably already gone) “Well anyway, he was here when the explosion happened and was hiding by the water barrel when he heard this plop into the water from the roof. It’s magic but I’m still not awake enough to figure out what it does yet.”
