Although the griffon flight doesn't yield much more than a better understanding of the streets and locations of landmarks, those in the Dock Ward with the detector do discover that two docked ships contain nimblewrights. They are part of Sea Maiden's Fair, a carnival that recently came to town. Beyond that the Dock Ward contains no sign of a nimblewright or anything else connected to the crime scene.
Cora was already leaving the dock district when when Lu-lu spoke. She half turned, then fully turned when she saw her batting and pouting. Cora stood there for a moment to see if Lu-lu was being serious. She was being serious. Cora's shoulders slumped ever so slightly, and her left eye twitched the tiniest bit.
The carnival is still being set up for the evening show, you do however see many of the performers getting ready for all sorts of wonderful acts from trapeze to magics to great feats of strength. The nimblewright detector continues to go off the closer you get to the ships.
The docks are chaotic and bustling. No one seems to care who you are or what your are doing on them. The two ships are large multilevel ships. The flagship, the Eyecatcher is out in the bay while the other two ships of the carnival, the Heartbreaker, and the Hellraiser, are docked for easy access to things the carnival needs. There is a constant stream of performers and technicians bringing wagons, parade floats, and more off the ship. You get the feeling that getting onto these ships in the middle of the day with people coming on and off of them may be challenging, although a good disguise could get you on board...
“You got it,” Vincent affirms, getting the griffon to land as carefully as possible. He hops off the beast, helping Heishe off as well. “Thank ya for the ride, Bonesnapper!” He takes a general look about the area then looks to Bonesnapper. “Don’t... think they got a griffon stable around, so, uh... Don’t cause too much trouble, eh? We’ll be back.”
After ensuring he would stay, Vincent then hogs over to where the others had gathered.“What... what are we doin’ here, ladies?”

"That's a pretty good idea, except for one detail."Cora mentioned, thinking. "What about the rest of us? I, for one, don't intend to let you go in alone - if there's ass to kick, I want a piece of it."
Cora huffed. She didn't like the idea of splitting up and not being able to cover someone's back. Her face scrunched up, indicating she didn't like that idea, but then again, knew the dragonborn who looked like a gorgeous human probably knew what she was doing. Probably.
And if not, she'll be dead.
"I don't like that idea, but if you must. Hurry back and don't take risks. If you're not back soon i'm going in after you."

"Hm." Cora said, holding the detector. "Nothing here. How about another ward?"
“Ooooh! Can we go to the carnival, Pleeeeeeease?” Lu-lu bats her multicolored eyes and pouts her lip.

“Wait a second. The detector is picking up something. Towards the ships” Cora said.

From above, Heishe frowns. "Hmmm, what are they up to?" She sends Lu-lu a message.

“The detector is picking up something in one of these ships.” Cora said, gesturing. “And Lu-lu wanted to go to the carnival.” she said, deadpan.
Heishe tilts her head thoughtfully. "I could disguise myself to get on the ship, if needed."
