Heishe winks at Cora. "Glad you have my back." As the dragonborn speaks, her appearance changes, and she looks like a nondescript circus employee. Without another word, she turns and vanishes into the carnival crowd onto the ship.

One of the carnival ship hands notices you as you begin to poke around the ship, "OI, I don't recognize you. You new? What is you act? We got most of this ship emptied for tonight performance, you should be helping set up out there." 

Heishe ducks her head, looking embarrassed. "I am new, and I keep getting turned around. I'm supposed to check on the nimblewrights, and I think I got on the complete wrong ship, and..." She flushes deeply, weaving some magic into her voice. "I don't suppose you could help? I'm really sorry."

Burning a sorcery point to cast the spell without somatic or verbal components. DC 13 Wis ST or he's charmed. If that doesn't work, I'll settle for plain old Deception/Persuasion.

"Oh you were? Huh strange, well I can show you to the one we have here. He is in storage below cause I didn't think we were gonna use him tonight. Follow me. You checking out the one on the other ship or the two on the flagship as well?" He begins to lead you down into the ship. 

"Uh...I think he said to check all of them," Heishe says, chewing her lip nervously.

"Well the one on the other ship should be the same place as on this one, the ones on the flagship are the captains personal servants so they will be helping him around the ship probably. Why are you checking those 2?"

Heishe's embarrassed blush intensifies. "Um...I'm supposed to make sure there's no problems, physically. Rust, scratches, that kind of thing. And...well, he said all of them, but I don't know if that means just the two on the docked ships or the two on the flagship too." She continues to bite her lip nervously.

"Well here is our machine. Take a look. I got work to get back to. Just as a warning, captain gets prissy when people poke around his ship. Good luck friend." He then walks back up to the deck and back to his work.

Heishe turns to the nimblewright in front of her, giving them a friendly smile. "Hello," she says softly. "I'm Helen. I was wondering if I could have a word."

"And this is why you talk to the nimblewright that's readily available," Heishe mutters to herself. "Let's try something else." She opens her hand and uses prestidigitation to create a nonmagical replica of the necklace of fireballs, watching the nimblewright carefully for a reaction.

"******* shit."  Cora sighed, getting ansy. "She's been gone for over ten minutes."

You don't get a reaction but it doesn't seem to know what you are holding

"Hmmm. All right, well thank you for the scintillating conversation," Heishe says cheerfully. "Have a lovely day." She stands and heads out of the ship.

It cocks it's head the other direction but otherwise just stands there, you are easily able to reach the rest of the party or head towards the other ship still in disguise, about 15 minutes have passed. 

Heishe sends a message to Cora as she turns towards the other ship.
