Cobash grabs his halberd and jumps down from the back of the carriage and runs forward to meet the woman. "Stop there lady. Who's blood there?"

 Branra hops out of the carriage with his sword in hand, looking around for anyone who might be pursuing the woman.

"It's my husband Granra's; he was attacked by a deer.  Hurry, come help!"  She suddenly turns around and starts running back the way she came.

Addi will see if the woman is telling the truth with what she said and about her intentions. Insight: 12

Luna will hop out of the carriage with Branra drawing her mace

Cobash, uncertain of the woman's truthfulness, will follow, but warily, keeping his distance behind and halberd ready.

Addi, the woman appears to be telling the truth; through it isn't fully possible to tell as she turned and ran quickly, giving only a few moments time to try to read her.    She is moving fast, quickly increasing the distance between you all.  Tarric says; "I'll bring the carriage as close as possible, without putting it in the range of any danger."  Sedna hops out, axe in hand; "So, what are we waiting for?" As she rushes after the young woman.

Luna follows Cobash pulling out her sickle so she is ready to fight

As the group follows, it isn't long before you find an unconscious man bleed heavily from multiple wounds; upon the side of the road, not far from the edge of the woods.  The woman rushes up to his side, looking to you for help.

Cobash gestures to the wounded man, "Someone help. I keep watch out, but someone watch in too. Them may be trick." With that Cobash faces out, halberd at the ready (Perception: 22).

Luna walks over crouching down and placing her hand on him; "Cure wounds."

Branra will join the rest of the group as they near the wounded man. He will begin looking on the ground to see if he can see any signs of deer tracks in the vicinity.

Cobash, you see the shadows move just inside the woods; but you can not believe what your eyes see.  They look almost like legs, a lot of them, about the height of a man.  The closest set seem to be advancing towards Luna and the injured man.  Luna, you place your hand on the man's chest and your divine magic flows into his body; slowly healing the multiple wounds.  

Branra, the ground around the man is kicked up, but the tracks are clearly from a deer.  The animal appeared to be in a great hurry, as if running in fear, and likely attacked the man because he was in the way.  The tracks continue across the road; and you can see a deer moving in the far distance, rushing through a farmland.  You suspect it is the same creature.

Cobash calls out, "Watch out! Many legs approach!" He will run to make sure he's between Luna and the creature, weapon at the ready.

Addi, noticing the shadows, gets in front of Luna and the injured man and gets ready to cast spells at the creatures.
