Updated Map - Round 2, Turn 5 - Beginning of Snurk's Turn

As the last of the sailors that were still on the beach perish, everyone else still left on the beach can hear all kinds of yelling coming from the ship: 

"Hurry up!"

"The island's sinking!"

"We can't wait forever!"

Okay - Snurk's turn.

Also, I need to add in Snurk's initiative: 23

So, Snurk will actually go next, before Darla.

Just as an FYI, the ship will be ready to leave in 3 rounds.

Snurk runs at the Sahuagin (2)like a madman, stabbing and trying to kick it in the nuts.

Attack: 7 Damage: 5 

Attack: 21 Damage: 4 

DC 12 Con save or take 8 Poison damage

Like an amphibious ninja frog, Snurk runs over to S2 and connects with good dagger, but misses his kick.

Sahuagin 2 CON save: 3

The Sahuagin takes a total of 14 points of damage.

Next up is Darla!

Seeing Snurk awake and rushing the last fish-man, Darla gives a cheer as he strikes them, at the same time drawing her dagger from her boot, she takes a second to take aim, and flings the blade at the them(the Sahuagin) Attack: 19 Damage: 4

Unfortunately, Darla's blade misses, landing somewhere in the water past the creature.

Cursing at her poor aim, Darla grips her Rapier tighter and holds her ground.

Everyone sees that two of the ship's crew just threw a rope over the port side of the ship and everyone on the deck is yelling for you all to get to the ship and is motioning with their hands to come on.

Next up is the Sahuagin.

Updated Map - Round 2, Turn 7 - Beginning of Sahuagin's Turn - 2.5-ish Rounds until the ship leaves

Sahuagin 2 is super angry about being stabbed and poisoned by this little frog, and out of fear of being poisoned again, he only attacks with the spear. After his attack, he'll take one step back away from Snurk to try and create a little bit of distance.

• Attack: 15 Damage: 4 piercing damage (vs Snurk AC15)

So, Snurk is hurt pretty bad, now. He's still up, but he's hurting. 

S2 will also need to make a DEX save to see if he gets burned by the bonfire that Stanley lit earlier: 18.

Snurk now gets an opportunity attack against the Sahuagin as he backs up away from him.

Attack: 14 Damage: 11 and DC12 Con save 3 Poison damage

Using his opportunity attack as Sahuagin 2 backs away, Snurk gets another quick jab in with his dagger and nicks the sahuagin in the kidney. He drops to the ground in the bonfire that Stanley is maintaining and, much to all of your delight, the giant crabs march back into the water and disperse.

Combat is over.

The villager immediately goes over to Nalos to heal him for 9 points.

Shocked but pleased, Stanley looks over to Darla.  "We should go, quick."  He turns to the villager, "Thank you so much for your help," and then he turns to the Tritan.  "Sir, my name is Stanley.  You were injured but this nice villager has assisted you.  This island is sinking.  We must move quickly to get on the boat over there."  He points.  "I can help you, but we've got to move now."

Darla breathes out deeply, hissing a bit with the pain of her wound, but relieved as the action seems to have come to a halt. She looks at Stanley as he assists the Triton, then at Usul and Snurk. She begins walking gingerly toward the ship, pulling a kerchief out to wipe the blade of her rapier before she sheathes it. "C'mon then sweetlings, to the boat wit'ye."

Nalos looks at the villager and says, "Thank you for your assistance." Looking at Stanley, he reaches out a hand to ask for help to his feet, and says while getting up, "Thank you for helping me, as well. I apologize for being more of a burden than of a help. But, let's get to that ship if the island is sinking as you say." He looks over at the ship to get his bearings and then runs out into the water, swims over to the rope that is hanging off of the port side and climbs up with the assistance of the crew on board holding the rope.

The villager runs over to the dock and then up the gangplank onto the ship. 

Assuming everyone, at this point has made their way to the ship, everyone level up to Level 2!

As you all board the ship, the skeleton crew quickly gets to work on finishing getting underway. You also notice that a handful of villagers are now taking refuge on the ship as their home is currently being destroyed.

While you stand there, observing your new surroundings, a femal tabaxi with snow leopard-like spots approaches you all and says, "First of all, thank you for your assistance," and she gives a quick bow. Standing back up, she says, "They call me Captain Three Earrings," and she tilts her head so that the three earrings in her left ear are showing, "or just Captain." Then, turning back, she says, "Now, as you're probably aware, some of my crew were killed by those crabs back there, so we're short-handed. If you're going to ride my vessel, you're going to help out with her. Her name is the Wavechaser and if you help take care of her, she'll take care of you. Understood?"

After a brief pause, making eye contact with each of you to make sure there is a mutual understanding, she smiles, bows again, and then says, "Now, I need to go figure out where we're going next. So, if you'll excuse me," and then she turns around and walks towards the aft of the ship where the captain's quarters are likely located.

Map of the Wavechaser

Wavechaser is a type of vessel known as a caravel, which is equipped for navigating coastal waters. The ship can carry twenty passengers comfortably. Though it’s a sturdy vessel, it’s not built for the open ocean. The island of Darktow is the farthest this ship could feasibly travel.

Wavechaser is outfitted with two ballistae on its stern for ship-to-ship combat. The ship’s store of iron-tipped ballista bolts is kept in the hold to keep their wooden shafts from rotting.

"Seems a fair trade, Cap'n. Ye can call me beautiful, or just Darla if ye like." Darla says with a wink. "An' if I can be so presumptuous as ta introduce tae rest o' me friends," at that she gestures to the rest of the party, "tae tall drink o' bookish is me dear friend Stanley. Tae cutie holdin' the crossbow is Usul, and his adorable friend who looks like he wants tae punch someone is Snurk." She bows with a little flourish as she finishes. "Pleasure tae be makin' yer acquaintance."

As she walks away, raises a hand in the air in a backwards kind of wave and days, "Nice to meet ya. Now, feel free to make yerselves useful!"
