While Onyx is able to keep his footing, he does experience the same dread of falling into this hidden abyass. Letting out the rope slowly and carefully, he feels it make contact with the ground and feels about...
In the fog, Grahl continued to try to gain his bearings. He can barely see a hand in front of his face. Wandering forward, ax out, he staggers through the mist...
Something slams into Grahl! Its cleary much taller than him and with far greater range! A glancing blow, dealing no damage but Grahl was now aware it was about. He can hear it swish past, and turn around for another pass in the exact opposite direction at his back!
From the bridge, Onyx can hear nothing. He feels the rope move across the ground and breifly bump something. Hoping that it was indeed his friend, Onyx pulled the rope back in that direction and was met with something jerking on the rope with violent force!
In a blink, Onyx is yanked into the smoke off the bridged.
Below, Grahl heaves at the oncoming behemoth towering over him, his ax missing its body but his form catches something. It wraps around a foot and tries to pull him. The mighty creature seems to win at first but Grahl is too strong! He pushes forward with all his might!!
The titan falls. Somewhere, far out in the forever mists Grahl can feel it land with a slight ripple through the spongy floor. It's grip loosening, sliding from his boot.
Onyx pulls himself from the ground examining the slight rope burn he can feel but not see. Somewhere in the dense mists, a roaring creature makes a flesh smack/slap repeatedly in triumph.
All he could do was sigh. Of course Grahl would wind up pulling him down. "Okay Mr. Scholar, think," he thought to himself as he stood. The others above wouldn't be able to hear them, but apparently, he could hear Grahl. Or rather--what he hoped was Grahl.
Focusing on an area near the roar, he used his magic to project his voice, at an elevated volume.
"Grahl! It's me, Onyx! Calm down, we need to figure out how to get back up on the bridge."
Arbon turns around after making it to the other side to look for the others. "Where are Onyx and Grahl?" he says to Chazrael. He peers down into the pit, but sees only darkness. He looks around for a rock or something just lying around on the floor, picking it up and casting light on it before he drops it down into the murk below to see if he can illuminate it.
Chazrael scans into the pit before grabbing rope and dropping it over the edge while still holding it. "We may be able to get them out this way. We can drop the rope and shine the light toward it and pull them up."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Grahl has no idea what the screeching noise coming from his defeated adversary is but he is sure its yelling the same utterance that sounds like either "Crawl" "Gore" or "Hell"
Meanwhile, up at the top, Arbon's rock shines brightly till it passes the cloud cover and fades from sight.
Grahl will move in the direction of the noise, unsure if it is friend or foe he will keep his axe at the ready and slowly walk towards it trying to see or hear whats ahead.
Arbon holds the rope tight, waiting for some sign that he needs to pull it up. He ties the rope off on the nearest statue so as to ensure the rope remains as an escape for the group from whatever lurks in such an unnatural darkness below.
Down in the foggy haze, everyone shouts and screams and lumbers to and about their intended destinations.
(Chazrael, Onyx, Grahl roll perception)
There is a silence that falls over the room as Chazrael dips below the clouds. Arbon remembers this is the same way the Blood Hunter died, alone holding a rope while the others went down. He looks over to the bridge, he looks over to the entrance, he gazes at the black-eyed stone statues that never stop staring at him.
Above the fog, Arbon is nearly going mad from the amount of over the shoulder quick turning he has to do. Every single thing that moves or creaks or slightly shifts setting him off into a panic. On one of the occasions, he panics then settles down but the moment he regains his composure, something touches his shoulder.
He freezes, unable to really contemplate if one of his companions simply sprang forth without him seeing or if its an illusion or what. He turns about and swings at the air.
But this is different than the last vision, if that's what it was. Arbon felt the hand. More than just a tap, it was like it touched him and lingered for a moment.
Like something was standing behind him, looking out at the fog with a "Beautiful, isn't it?" type gaze, resting a hand on his shoulder calmly, in a contemplative way.
Below, Chazrael can hear Onyx's yells and calls for assistance but Onyx does not hear his. Split between going towards one sound and another, Onyx chooses the familiar sound\direction of what he assumes is Grahl.
And Grahl, Grahl hears monstrous wailing all around him. From the second he's stepped into this mists, things have been trying to get him, and now he's surrounded by the one that he thought he killed and a new one in a different direction.
