Grahl clenches his fist and places it on his own chest as respect after the orc speaks of Grahls honor.
Yes, Grahl serve Gruumsh. Guide Grahl here.
WIll bring honor to Gruumsh.he adds proudly
He turns around starting to walk out of the room turning his head slightly Grahl get key, free orc. He will head for the door with the eaten apple and see if he can push it open.
Torn between staying and protecting the orc from the feasting goats and retrieving the key, Arbon looks back and forth between the goats and Grahl as he walks away. After a moment, he heads to the door and pauses there, watching Grahl move to the eaten apple doorway.
As the Orc's taunting and commenting fade, and the choices are made, you all become aware of the sound coming from the stall. There is a sick crunching and chewing of flat teeth trying to rip and grind raw meat. Pulling, so much pulling, and tearing-occasionally with a pop followed by foul smells pouring into the room and fading just as fast. Fortunately, the feast seems to have muted the evil creatures' bleats. The silence between words that filled with such sounds seemed to have paled the Orc a little, and his boisterous nature somewhat dulled by the memory of being eaten,
"...Hurry small ones..."
He says quietly as you move to the doorway.
Opening the door, you notice this room is far closer to the apothecary room in size. Its just a small wood stove, a counter space with two cabinets, and two cabinets above that. On the wall, there's a small wooden peg imbedded, possibly for coats. Its current occupant, however, is a large iron key ring with three equally large iron keys.
In the back of the room, between the stove and cabinets, is a woman. Her face covered by whispy white hairs, you cannot tell her age. So too can you not tell things about her by skin due to her: gloves, shoes, and thick linen clothes covering any possible exposure.
She looks over to you and in the most welcoming tone, with a young woman's voice, she calls out,
Seeing the others act, Onyx decided to just stand watch over the orc. "So..." he began, addressing the captive, "How exactly did you come to find yourself down here?"
The orc puzzles at Onyx, perhaps suspicious of him for an unknown reason. With a questioning look, he answers Onyx,
"May seem stupid, but, I came here to find God small one. One day, Gruumsh tell me that I am to run into a cave in a forest, slay its owners. The next, small women in other room surrounds me with big squawking birds. They lock me in room with goats and a screaming man."
He imitates the man, stretching his mouth open and closed exaggeratedly to silently mimic his screaming, then continues,
"Then they took screaming man-and the screaming stopped."
Grahl steps inside the room and hears the woman speak. He does not say anything at first, only the sound of his breathing can be heard as he remembers the orcs words of a witch's magic.
His muscles tense unsure of what to make of her. Grahl need keys. he says while looking at the keyring, not trying to talk around it.
(ooc: Is the keyring close to Grahl or is the woman standing between the keys and Grahl?)
Grahls adrenaline rises, the witch is clearly playing a game. He takes 2 steps forward slowly while speaking bluntly Grahl need key to free orc.
He keeps walking forward in a steady pace gripping his axe right his right hand and reaching for the keys with his left free hand. While he does this he keeps his eyes on the woman and tries to not make sudden movements on his own.
His blood rises at the anticipation of a possible fight but does not attack the woman, perhaps she does seek a fight here or is not the witch at all. But Grahl is prepared to attack should the woman attempt an attack or spell of any kind.
The woman giggles with a hand in front of her mouth in mocking delight,"Is that so? Tell me..."
She rapidly walks towards the keys at the same time you do after the two steps. You are now at the same distance, her stride a little longer, braver, less worried about the danger than your own. She stands ready but does not attack.
A little closer, you still can't make out any further details from her. Her voice still sounds young but its so loud now. She isn't screaming but you feel pressure on your ear drums as she speaks to you, "What is that Orc's name, Grahl? What is he going to do for you?"She swerves her neck left and right, her slender body following hypnotically behind. Her voice pounds against the molars in the back of your mouth, vibrating the very bones in your ear. "Mmmmooore importantly, wwwwhhy do you think I put him in chhhhhains?"
Her long bony arm extends out, reaching far beyond what are form previously displayed. The clothing upon it tears, revealing pale-blue molded looking flesh stretched far too tight over thin bird-like bones bent to resemble an extremely long human arm.
The anticipation increases as the woman steps forward as well, narrowing his eyes and grabbing hold of the keyring. Grahl not know orc name. Need nothing from orc.
With each word more anger is heard in his voice, unsure if the witch is using magic as she speaks. Grahls words end in small growling sounds as he clenches his teeth to contain his anger. Hearing the womans question he looks down a moment to his axe, seeing the blades smooth edge disrupted by the small chipped out piece from the orcs chains. then looks up to answer the question.
Fear... Orc no die in chains. He adds as he starts pulling the keyring towards himself.
Grahl considers the womans strange words a moment, but shrugs it off and walks backwards to the door again, not taking his eyes of the woman.
As he gets to the doorway he turns and walks back to the other room, every few steps gazing back to see if hes being followed.
Woman give key he says as he walks into the room.
He steps before the orc holding the keys in his hand and starts to release him from his chains asking What orc name? curious as to why the woman asked Grahl for it.
The woman let's Grahl leave, the door closing just as slowly behind him, as she waved gently.
As Grahl freed the orc, he explained that he was,
"Urithag, Rattail Eye of Gruumsh "
He looked over to the Goat's eating their fallen brother still, having not slowed in the least. The flat blade of teeth that rested in the usually herbivores mouth, now scratched and gnawed on raw bone, each inch of flesh stripped from certain areas.
"Here too long-my people struggle without me. woman must die soon."
When (if) a limb is freed, he will wriggle it about, having become somewhat energized at the possibility of a fair fight.
"Thank you for your help small ones."
In the Gate room, Chazrael's Owl fluttered about the place. It hadn't seem to pay much mind to the bird creatures-in fact-it almost seemed as if it avoided the fight all together. Though it had indeed proven itself an ally, recently it appeared...apathetic? At the very least, it had been heavily distracted and it continued to be so even during the goat's head melting and the orc being eaten.
But when the eaten apple door closed, however, the owl wouldn't take its gaze off the fourth door. As Grahl crossed the room, he may or may not have noticed that it didn't even blink as he crossed its path, fixating its gaze on the wooden slots. Even now as the chains fall upon the group's new ally, its fluttering became more directed, almost patrol like with a once again never ending stare pointed right at the door.
"Before you hurry off, Urithag... Grahl said that the woman gave him the keys. Surely she must have known your intentions? Why do you think she did that?"
Onyx cast a curious, suspicious eye at the orc, trying to discern his motives.
As Grahl finishes releasing the orc he repeats his title Eye of Gruumsh he nods his head in respect and recognition of another devout follower of Gruumsh.
He will stand there listening to whatever answer the orc gives on why the woman would give the keys. Grahl was unsure about this himself.
Urithag regards Onyx once again. Pensive, the orc seems to be analyzing the information he's just been given, attempting to determine something about it. Looking to Grahl once more, he notices the fellow Barbarian has not mentioned being given the keys to Urithag. He smirks, as if coming to some grand conclusion long hidden from him. Now free, and with a much more openly dismissive tone to the "small one" than before, he simply states,
" You lie. The woman gave nothing to Grahl."
He rubs his wrists, spits in the direction of the goats, and tries to leave.
The orc spins around with a furious gaze and a burning question,
"What? What do you mean? i-"
He freezes, unsure of himself. A fear washes over his face and a new, much more horrifying, realization comes into play,
"You saw woman-and did not slay her?"
Mirth, deep and scornful comes forth fully from a spiteful place,
"And you claim to serve Gruumsh?"
he laughs with a sneer,
He placed a hand on the doorway, looked out, and immediately saw what the Owl was gazing at. The door to the Eaten Apple room was ajar, wide enough for something small to slip out.
And something had indeed slipped out. It must have dragged itself quickly rom one end of the room to the other, leaving a trail of blood swiveling behind it through the plague mask door.
The orc grabbed fist tightly, considering that room.
"Woman afraid of Urithag when not in chains, asked for help. Help not afraid of Urithag because so many."
Smacking a hand against an open palm, he remarks,
"Maybe woman afraid of Grahl. Maybe Birds behind that door."

The woman-let's Grahl grab the keyring. Her hand pulls back, and retracts to her form near the stove slowly.
She doesn't appear aggravated, simply smiling at his answer and watching carefully, slowly turning her head as he walks.
Her voice returns to normal as the distance between them grew back to the doorway and wall. She then replies calmly,
"AaAah, a geeenerous soul. I'm sure he would do the same for you. You, and anyone else he's come acrosssss."
The orc regards Onyx with some measure of attention, but also seems a bit distracted.
"Yes, Brave small one guards the door, and the warrior seeks my freedom."
He finally looks over at the goats again, then back at you,
"No, will kill woman. Her-and her birds."
He looks to the goats again, saying nothing about them, looking back to you.
