Onyx, Arbon, and Grahl witness a battle take place between the one armed one eyed warrior and this clearly very powerful spellcaster. The bird creatures nonchalantly grazed upon the buzzing insects in their man made swamp pool, and an unholy ritual in the back proceed uninhibited. As the fight dragged on, you can see he is in no condition to continue battling the mystic alone as his blood drops from open wounds now sheered open by the impact of magic missiles.
He's literally falling apart, but refuses to back down. He continues, aiming his spectral spear at her once again.
The woman refuses to back down as well, raising her hands above her head. Swirling magical energies pass above them, and she fires two beams of eldtrich energies into his chest, knocking him back into the wall as the spear splits her arm that fired. Three of her fingers drop to the ground the moment he slams down hard on the bookshelves nearby, cracking and breaking them. She holds her ruined forearm in disgust as she walks towards him, ready for an execution.
"This will be the very last time I kill you Urithag. I'm just going to cut off your foot, wear it around my neck, and throw it in a fire every couple of years."
The warrior groaned, reaching a hand out towards the party.

"ENOUGH!" yelled Onyx as his enhanced voice boomed across the room. He pointed his hand, fixed into an eldritch sign, toward the woman, then at the warrior, then back again.
"You're both weak enough that you will both DIE HERE, IN PAIN AND DISHONOR, unless you STOP AND ANSWER US!!!"
(( He's trying to intimidate them into stopping long enough to make sense of all this. Intimidation Check:13 ))
The woman recognizes your eldtrich sign as an precursor to a spell and she freezes. She doesn't appear intimidated but she recognizes the danger and stops. The orc is simply too damaged to even really acknowledge you, still reaching out, grabbing hard at the still air.
The woman points to the orc as she addressed Onyx,
"I don't believed you've asked anything, dear, have you a complaint? Do you also know this one?"
Taking the opportunity, Onyx tried to think fast as he chose his words carefully.
"No complaint," he shrugged, as he slowly moved to step between the woman and her prey (perhaps somewhat foolishly.) "At least, none other than finding unwarranted killing to be distasteful. It's clear he wants to kill you, presumably in exchange for having been imprisoned. So let me ask: why do you want to kill him, and why did you imprison him in the first place? What is he to you?"
(( EDIT: Onyx moves to be equidistant from both combatants. ))
The old woman regards the interruption of the desperate struggle with infinite mirth. Disgusted, she looks down at the orc, "Well, it all began with a bird and a sacrifice."
The orc stops grabbing at the air, lowering his hand abit, turning his head to her. "Woman, don't you dare." His grits his teeth, then shouts, "SHE LIES!"
The woman laughs, "we are oracles: our job is to test the faithful and destined." She paused briefly then continued, "kill a bird and make a sacrifice-kind of sounds like kill ALL the birds and try to steal the sacrifice, right?"
He says nothing and she nods affirmatively, "I thought so. I have a feeling these ones came through the dwarf tunnel Sam, I don't think there actually here to save him."
The one at the back of the room turns from its ritual, "oh? Did they?" It looks directly towards Grahl and Arbon, "did you really?"
Grahl steps closer to the orc and replies to the woman. Gruumsh sent Grahl here through tunnel. he looks at the orc and motions his axe slightly towards him Orc warrior of Gruumsh. Grahl here for reason.
"I think I see," began Onyx. "Correct me where I stumble, but, from what I gather, this orc came seeking your vision. You tested him, wanting him to kill a bird, and for whatever reason he decided to go overboard with the task. Which led to you attacking him, then him attacking you, and finally to all this."
He turned to look at the orc squarely; the warlock's face was a mixture of irritation and tiredness. "That sound about right?"
The woman regards you slowly, "close." She admitted casually, "though you might be waving that blade in the wrong direction."
the orc remained silent.
"Long ago, the orc pledged himself to his God by taking out an eye. A vision told him to seek us out, and slay a single bird for its poison. He was to sacrifice his eye as well as a body part that would become imbued with godly power. When the first worked, he slaughtered the entire flock and bathed in the toxins that gave whatever body part the gods deemed fit a blessing of untold possibility. I simply want what our birds died for, and the respective justice that should accompany it."
The orc says little, lowering his head, "She lies..."
Growing annoyed, Onyx turned toward the orc. "Really? Even caught red-handed, you continue this farce?"
His voice began rising in volume as he continued. "Tell me, then... where EXACTLY did she lie? You DIDN'T take out an eye? You DIDN'T come here led by a vision? Were you told to sacrifice MULTIPLE birds? Were you to not sacrifice ANY body part? Did you even actually sacrifice one?
The warlock paused a moment to cast a spell before continuing, glaring at the orc as he did.
"Well then, speak up? Which part was the lie?"
(( Using Guidance to help see if the orc is lying, juuuuust in case.... Insight Check:22 ))
The orc says nothing for a moment, merely keeping his head lowered. When he does speak, it is haggard and his voice cracks, "the wOman...she...lies..."
(Urithag, while very convinced of his own narrative, is unable to convey anything resembling truthful. Hes clearly trying to save face but-also losing alot of blood laying there)

With a sigh, Onyx knelt beside the orc. "You don't get to die on us," he said, loud enough for the woman to hear. "You've got some debts to be paid."
With that, he placed his hand on the ground, then suddenly vanished, leaving only his ring behind. A moment later, he reappeared in the same spot, holding several strips of cloth apparently torn from pillows, then picked up his ring and placed it back on his finger.
Looking over the orc again, he began trying to crudely patch up his wounds.
(( Medicine Check:15 to stop the blood loss and stabilize him if need be. ))
Onyx shook his head. "He was right. This is going to require something more serious." He placed the strips of cloth next to the other items now beside him: a roll of heavier cloth, a silver-nickel iron, a flask, a scalpel, an unlit torch, some flint and steel. They hadn't been there earlier--it was as if they had appeared right when Onyx had come back from his vessel.
"I may need a hand here," he said, turning to Arbon, Grahl and Chazrael. "My patron just informed me of what's killing this orc; I'll need to do a bit of surgery if he's to be saved, and we don't have a lot of time. Would either of you be willing to help hold Urithag?"
He then turned back to the orc warrior. "I know you probably feel like you'd rather just die right now; but I have every intention of saving your life. I'll try to make this as quick and painless as possible, and I have some alcohol to help. Will you work with us on this, or do I need to magically restrain you?"

Onyx looked the orc right in the eye. "You're still about to die, and I think you know this." He turned away a moment to let the truth of the matter sink in, as he pushed some of the heavier cloth into a small pile and used a quick spell to spark a small fire. He put the iron on top of the flames, and leaned the sharp part of the scalpel in as well.
Turning back to Urithag, he continued, "If you die now, the woman gets what she wants anyway. So, assuming you're going to be rational about this..." He held up the flask in his left hand. "The easy way?" He then held up his right hand, formed into an eldritch sign. "Or the hard way?"
(( He's more trying to logically persuade than to trick or intimidate. Persuasion Check:18 ))
Urithag swats at the offered flask with his missing arm like a broken flyswatter flailing at an incoming bee while trying to crawl away with his other arm. He bellows, "STAY AWAY VERMIN! I NEED NO HELP!!"
The woman delightfully chuckles, "Please do continue, I'm all for watching this pitiful display a bit longer." she grabbed her chin in amusement, "Actually, I'm rather enjoying it."

Grahl stands there a moment, not feeling much desire to help the orc. Unsure of what is being said is all true.
To humor Onyx he will walk towards the orc grunting and push Grahls axe against his chest to push him back down. Hold still.
Grahl then steps over the orc to position himself to hold him down so Onyx can heal him.
As Grahl steps over him he takes his axe of Urithags chest stepping over him carefully not to step on top of the bloodied orc. His axe swings over Urithags body and as it reaches his legs the axeblade lights up faintly just like when Gruumsh powers his attacks with radiant energy. The glow is short but Grahl caught it in the corner of his eye as he was looking down.
Taking a moment to process it he looks Urithag in the eye to see if he saw it too. What..
Grahl moves his axe over Urithags legs again seeing it repeat its faint short glow as it goes over his left leg. A moment of disbelief enters Grahls mind but it is quickly followed by him clenches his teeth. Gruumsh's eye sees all. he says as he looks back at Urithags face. He will kneel down and search his leg to see if Urithag has hidden something there. If needed Grahl will use force to search him. Where is it..

Having stood silently for some time, Arbon looks at each of the other creatures in the room, then in a stern voice, "What sacrifice?"
The woman regards you slowly, "close." She admitted casually, "though you might be waving that blade in the wrong direction."

The woman laughed again.
Arbon eyes the woman closely as she tells the story, trying to determine how truthful she is (Insight: 23).

Grahl stands there looking at the orc, unsure of what to do. Only Gruumsh give great power. Orc should know this. Bring shame to Gruumsh.
He looks around to the birds and the others thinking they can judge someones faith. Grahl then spits on the ground Pretend gods.

The woman patronizingly snickers at Grahl while Onyx prepared to attempt surgery.
With his lighter wounds already bandaged, the orc is puzzled and unsure of Onyx. "Back away! I merely needed breath!! I will kill the woman!!"
He flails pitifully, reaching his cut off, bandaged, arm out towards her now. "You lying wretch!!"
Onyx looked the orc right in the eye. "You're still about to die, and I think you know this."
