Fionn, as you enter the Inn you are greeted by the man behind the counter, “Evening! Welcome to the Stonehill. Names Toblen. If you are requiring a room this evening I’m afraid all of them have been reserved. May I have your name good sir?”
“Fionn”
“Wonderful! I’ve been expecting you.” He hands you a key. As you make your way back out “Enjoy your stay!”
Making your way over to the Shrine of Luck, you immediately recognize another follower of the faith of Tymora and nod to the elven woman at the shrine. “Well met brother …”
“Fionn”
“Sister Garaele. It is nice to see another follower of the Faith here.” She then walks away and heads into a nearby building.
Finished with your rituals, you making your way to the Sleeping Giant seeing four human ruffians linger on the covered porch, perched on empty ale barrels or leaning against the wall. They all wear grimy scarlet cloaks, their sullen stares fixed on you as you approach. They say nothing to you either as you enter.
The dwarven barkeep grabs you an ale and comes back with a bottle of whiskey. Looking at the bottle both before and after filling your flask says gruffly, “that’ll be 2 silver” then goes to the opposite end of the bar and begins cleaning mugs with a rag of questionable cleanliness.
Hearing the request for another drink starts to make her way over to the pair of you only to grumble to herself after being waved off by Velda.
Fionn notices Garaele from the shrine also sitting at the bar with himself and Velda.
Gert, Seeing Nova grab Sildar and practically bound forward into the Inn dragging Sildar along behind her decide to set off and look around town a bit before getting your own room. Mainly to have a little distance from the easily excitable half-elf. Walking slightly behind Fionn as he makes his way to the shrine you notice on the opposite side of the town square a building that has a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it.
You then wander around town for about 20 minutes making a good mental map of the area and areas you may be able to sell the goods acquired from the goblin cave. You then head back to Stonehill Inn and are greeted by the Innkeeper “Welcome traveler! If you are seeking accommodations I’m afraid all of our rooms are reserved. May I have your name?”
“Gertenor.”
“Excellent! One of the rooms I have was reserved for you.” He reaches under the counter and hands you a key. “Enjoy your stay!” You hear as you make your way to your room.
Similar to Nova’s room you notice a basin large enough to bathe in, a simple looking bed off in the corner and a circular, woven rug in the middle of the room. This room has a window overlooking the east side of town as well and you have a great view of the ruined house on the hill on the east side of town.
Fionn to Velda "suit yourself then" then goes over Sister Garaele "fancy some company fellow follower of the Lady?"
sitting next to her he lowers his voice "nice trick but i just left you not all that long ago, n you didnt come in after me, no worries not a word from me"
then to the ceiling Yes lady less talking more drinking.
Figuring that with two of their group already here, and all to awares of how much she stands out in a place like this, Velda decides to leave the bar and search for the townmaster, hoping to secure a safehouse for her to work out of in the future. As she walks passed the ruffians again, she stops and faces the supposed leader of the group.
"What? You git a problem, or you want one?"
If they don't respond, she heads onwards to the town master, otherwise she is down to bare knuckle some dudes.

The ruffian that was facing seemingly was prepared for your kick as they move in such a manner as the blow only glances them and you get the sense it didn’t get that great of a connection.
Not wanting to waste time with a lowly half-orc quickly unsheathes his sword and retaliates.
His first swing you were ready for Velda as you duck out of the way. Though you celebrate too quickly and get caught by the blade as he brings it back to a ready position.
Seeing that he’s drawn blood, “Maybe you should just walk away ...”

Cadence does a little dance as she wanders towards the door behind Fionn. Bonus action : start bladesong. Action just talking : "You draw a sword on a woman who swung with her fist? Even though she mostly missed? You must be really afraid, to think you need your blade. Did the girl hurt you? Oh, don't start crying...boo hooo."

The leader, confused slightly by your sudden appearance from inside the bar and by the flickering lights “I knew you was trouble. Get him gents! And anyone else that comes to ‘is aid.” He side steps past Velda landing another hit as he moves past her and takes a swing at Fionn and manages to get a quick slice on Fionns arm.
The three ruffians leap into action as the first one catches Fionn mace square on his nose he swings rapidly with his own sword at Fionn. Not prepared for such swift strikes after hitting his opponent so solidly on the face Fionn gets slashed twice across the chest.
The remaining two ruffians move to box in Velda (leader behind, one in front and one on Velda’s left) both of them swinging at the half-orc to knock some sense into her. The first pair of swings miss, unfortunately for Velda the second pair find their mark as she gets another pair of future scars.

Cadence your magical fire shoots toward the ruffian that Fionn just whacked in the face, hitting him square in the chest. He quickly pats out any residual flames and then takes a swing at you as you move behind him. Though patting out the flames causes his swing to go wide as you are well past him by the time he is able to swing.
Velda almost drops, as, dodging one of the attacks, she knocks her head on the tavern sign, almost blacking out. A part of her, deep within though, is pushing through, and the orcish blood in her is starting to fuel a rage she's only ever felt in the arena.
Holding her wounded and bleeding side, she lifts her head, and growls through her gritted and bloody teeth: "My turn."
With that, she turns to the left to grab the nearest of the ruffians, and quickly slips under his extended arm, trying to break it as she strikes onto his locked out elbow, whilst at the same time grabbing his sword, before spinning it around her back, before planting it solidly in her opponent's stomach. Then, she pivots the ruffian into the box she was previously in, hoping to now have all her opponents in front of her instead of being surrounded.
Action breakdown:
First action- Grapple to get the sword from the ruffian to her left: Athletics 21 vs his strength Bonus action- Unarmed attack against the same ruffian: 10 for 4 points of damage Action surge- Second action- Sword to the stomach of the ruffian: 11 for 13 Movement to swap places with the ruffian- Acrobatics: 18
