Rathe continues her quiet movements scouting ahead, staying out of sight and clinging to shadows and corners, moving slowly to stay silent on the balls of her feet. It's plainly not the first time she's done this sort of thing. She has an arrow nocked and ready for any sign of hostility lying in wait.
Nova would mutter to herself under her breath, rubbing her head and doing a slight dramatic bow when Rathe and Cadence would head in first. She’d follow in whenever it was her turn. When Velda would check on her, she was fine, just a little bump on the noggin. Otherwise she’d be huffing and sniffing the air, and begrudgingly staying back.
Velda would stick close to Nova. To her, the Redbrands were a threat, but the events of this morning had her in a bind, and she didn't feel ready to face them yet. Plus Nova, the first person she had encountered since being on her own that she'd consider a friend, seemed uneasy, and she usually had a good instinct for trouble.

As you move into the area with the crevasse, a cold breeze fills this large natural cavern, carrying with it the faint scent of decaying flesh. The crevasse divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched wooden bridges span the chasm.
Velda is staying close to Nova and Fionn as well. They had no idea what could be lurking down here, no need to rush into things.

Rathe is covering Cadence's exploration of the bridge, arrow ready. Assuming nothing, she'll place one foot on the right side bridge and see if anything happens, before jumping back to her hiding place.
Nova would eventually get restless. Her eyes first followed Rathe and Cadence, but eventually would wander around her immediate area. She'd look to Velda at her side, then Fionn next to her then back. The half elf would shrug before her mismatched eyes would get distracted by something else. She'd narrow them. Oh hey, a spiderweb. Is that what Cadence was looking at earlier? Can't be the same one... The druid's eyes would follow along the web. I wonder if this is where Natalie lives. Or maybe a relative? Would they turn us all into spiders?! Habitually, she'd start huffing. Nova would sniff too hard, pulling the web towards her face and sticking to her nose. She'd blink. "Whu-!" She'd force air from her nose in chuffs before she'd try swatting it off her face. The halfelf would shift into a giant spider.
Whuuu... what!? Again!? Spider Nova would skitter around in circles before stopping. The spider would look as if it were pouting for a whole two seconds before picking itself back up again. She'd let out some chatter sounds before skittering up and along the wall.
Velda suddenly sees Nova disappear, and turns around: "I thought you said you had that under control?"

As Cadence skips to and attempts to cross the south bridge, she hears the ropes snap behind her as the bridge collapses and she falls 20 ft down to the floor of the crevasse landing prone on a pile of loose rocks.
Cadence quickly releases some magic and floats gently down to the bottom of the crevasse. She yells, "The song works in mysterious ways. Now I need to find a way to raise." She glances around, "Oh, there's a chest here. The reason for my fall is now clear." She walks towards the chest and opens it.
