The party advances down the hallway as a group, seemingly a cohesive unit. Having already traveled down this hallway, Rathe is fine with letting Velda take point. Followed closely by Cadence, Nova, and Fionn.
As you approach the door Velda you hear a loud shout. And are able to make out the words, “What did you do that fer?” As the rest is unintelligible. What would you like to do?
Velda would put a boot to the door and rush in, tryin to make the most of the element of surprise.

Several worn tables and chairs are scattered around this large room. Wooden benches are drawn up against walls decorated with draperies of brown and red, and several ale kegs are propped up and tapped.
Four tough-looking human warriors wearing scarlet cloaks are gathered around one of the tables. A stack of coins and trinkets is heaped upon the tabletop between them. One of them looks at you and says, “Who R you, nd whaddya want *hic*?”
Fionn pushes past Cadence and shoots his crossbow at the drunk gambling red cloaks.
She shrugs, "We all want our chance to kill them, I also want to kill the scum." (she says it so that 'them' and 'scum' rhyme....you know, how singers muck words up in songs....hey...don't judge....)
She tries to leap into the room and attack them before they can react.

Rathe barely moves and looses her arrow at whoever seems closest to drawing weapons. She's not aiming to kill per se, but she's not being gentle with the people who took Gert and then her, and the other prisoners, for whatever reason they took people.

She darts back in a stutter step out of the doorframe, trying to mislead which direction she chooses, attempting to hide as a bonus action. Stealth: 24
Fionn’s bolt flies straight and true to his intended target and looks as if it will strike true. Just before it does however the ruffian turns slightly and the bolt PING’s off of one of the studs on the leather armor.
His turn leaves him open to a quick slash from Cadence as she saunters into the room getting the jump on the ruffians.
Seeing her companions immediately engaging the ruffians in the room, Velda springs into action hoping to create an area of some cover for her companions. She manages to flip the table over, sending the assorted bets on the table flying all over the room, but the table ends up being closer to the Ruffians than Fionn.
Seeing an opening immediately after Cadence has struck the closest Ruffian, Rathe lets loose her arrow into the same one. She quickly ducks back into the hallway out of sight. Waiting for another opportune moment to strike.
Nova seeing the closest Ruffian get slashed on his arm and pierced with an arrow in a matter of seconds decides to press her advantage and quickly dispatches the ruffian with pair of strikes from her scimitars.
With their valuables strewn about the room the ruffians angrily draw their swords and stumble over to Nova, Cadence, and Velda.
Watching one of their fellows drop, the ruffian nearest Nova runs over while she’s distracted and finds two openings in her aggressive attack leaves two deep gashes, one on each side.
Meanwhile, Cadence with her connection to the pulse of the universe skillfully dodges the first swing and deflects the second with her own blade.
The third ruffian charges over taking an overhead swing that bounces harmlessly off the now overturned table. Recovering quickly, draws his blade along the top of the table catching Velda on her side.
“Why’d ya knock over da table?” One of them stammers. “We was having a perfekly good game o dice.”
