Velda grimaced as she was hit square in the side of her rib cage by the morning star, but this wasn't the first time she had been hit, and by the surprised look on Klarg's face, he wasn't used to someone remaining on their feet after he'd hit them. Using that surprise to her advantage, Velda quickly swings her sword at his large, exposed thigh. Taking the opoortunity, Velda composes herself for this fight, tapping into her inner resources of strength and determination.

Cadence is running to the exit that is supposed to connect the caves with the one with Velda. A perfect distraction for goblins, so, he is following behind, ready to strike if/when things go south.
Cadence as you reach the base of the stairs on the southern part of this area, you see a massive Bugbear facing west as a sword from an unseen adversary slashes at the creatures’ right thigh. “ARGH!” the creature bellows “Klarg is angry now. Get him Ripper” looking in your direction noticing you adds “Get over here and help Klarg with this intruder Grux” Between you and Klarg you see a wolf that’s slightly larger than the ones you noticed earlier in the cave. You also notice two goblins in the room about thirty feet away from you in the cave unarmed and looking absolutely terrified of something. You suspect the terror is due to Velda. You’re also vaguely aware that the goblins you’ve run past are following behind you.
Nova and Fionn you both make your way down the stairs with hardly any noise. That is until you make it to the last few steps when Fionn catches a loose stone and sends it skittering across the floor. Fortunately for the pair of you, the sound seems to have been masked by the noise of the water fall located on the western wall. If the three goblins are aware of your presence they give no indication of it. Sending up a quick thanks to Tymora, you both take cover behind a stalagmite preparing to spring your ambush on the goblins.
Gert you move down the stairs as stealthily as shadow past Fionn and Nova to another stalagmite a few feet ahead of them to the south. Hugs stays at the top of the stairs from his position on Borris the wolf. What would the four of you like to do now?
Velda, you get the sense that you’ve enraged Klarg with your strike. Not that this surprises you in the slightest, you brace yourself for the counter attack you know is forthcoming. Klarg lets out a loud bestial roar as he continues his assault against you, this time swinging for your head. Fortunately for you his anger seems to have thrown off his aim as he swings higher than he intended as you easily duck underneath the blow.

Velda is very keen to keep Klarg in front of her to make Ripper's approach as difficult as possible. After ducking under Klarg's blow, she immediately goes for the opening, slashing at the extended right arm of Klarg, going for a nasty draw cut on his upper arm or shoulder.

Seeing her second blow land, Velda gives a cocky grin, and shouts at Klarg: "I didn't think you can handle goblins, I KNOW you can't handle me!"

Getting the drop on the three goblins following Cadence, they quickly fall to the fury of your attacks. Fionn’s shot with the crossbow narrowly misses one of the goblins. However, the one you targeted with your sacred flame wasn’t so lucky being engulfed in holy fire and dropping instantly. Gert seeing one of them go down, runs towards the closest on to him, reaching around it and slicing its throat. Watching it fall down dead at his feet, steps around his stalagmite and quickly slashes at the one in the lead catching the creatures arm with the blow. As soon as you reset getting ready for a counter attack, the area in front of you erupts in fire, catching the goblin alight as it falls to the ground smoldering. You’re all quickly overwhelmed with the stench of burning goblin flesh.
Cadence after sauntering into the room in your typical fashion you make it past Ripper and get right next to Klarg. Being closer to you he realizes that you aren’t what you appear to be. “Hey you’re not …” Is all he manages to say as you quickly swing both blades up towards his exposed neck, removing the creatures head from its shoulders as it rolls into the embers from the fire. Adding the smell of burning bugbear to the already unbearable smell of sizzling goblin. Ripper seeing you attack Klarg leaps at you trying to bite your throat, narrowly missing the mark.

Sorry for any confusion. I forgot as I started writing that cadence was disguised as a goblin, so the roll against her via the roller was with advantage for Ripper, when it shouldn’t have been so the wolf missed his reaction against Cadence. The only foes remaining are Ripper and the two unarmed goblins who were terrified before, but now are pissing their … loincloths scared, as the rest of the group shows up at the entrance to the chamber.
