Nova would finish patching up Ripper and begin putting her medkit away. "You're welcome to come along, or leave any time." She'll say softly to the wolf. "My brother Borris says there's someone being held here. We hope to find him." The halfelf will stand up to follow the rest of the group.
Ripper grumbles audibly the entire time you are tending his wounds but makes no other noises or actions. When Velda comes over to speak with it it appears to nod like it understood the half-orc. As you finish your treatment and stand up ... Ripper turns quickly to face you, gives a few quick barks, puts its front paws on your chest, licks your face and lets out a loud howl. Borris, not one to resist a good howl, joins in. Even you Nova, find yourself caught up in this moment and begin howling along as well. Much to the annoyance of Velda.(at least I assume she would be). As soon as Ripper stops howling he turns and bounds out of the cave as quickly as he can manage.

The goblins look to each other, as if to decide who is going to speak first, and give an almost imperceptible nod. And turn back to Gert with a steely resolve in their eyes.

Inspecting the body of Klarg reveals little of interest besides the creatures armor and armaments, the piles of sacks and the crates however are more interesting as you notice that most are marked with the symbol of a blue lion (Dc 10 history check to see if you know more). Hidden amongst the captured stores you find a simple wooden chest. It seems obvious that someone was trying to keep it hidden though clearly not very well. (If you decide to open the chest, I will let you know the contents)
Velda doesn't mind the display of savage emotion, she's all too familiar with that desire herself. The only thing she was concerned with was that whoever else was in the cave would surely know something was up now, and if they held captives, as had been suggested a few times, those could be in danger. Leaving the crates and stores for later, Velda stands behind Fionn, cracking her knuckles to make sure the goblins tell them as much as they know as quickly as possible so she can get going.

Velda had it covered (the goblin part) - Gert was realistic enough to understand that he can not beat half-orc level of Intimidation. He nodded to Fionn and came to look at the chest (first not touching it but checking for the traps)
The goblins don't seem as frightened as you now as they had been. You catch them sneaking glances over to Cadnece, almost like they are trying to keep an eye on her.
As you inspect the area around the chest nothing catches your eye to indicate that the chest is trapped ... from the outside at least. Knowing that sometimes chests are trapped by being open, you give yourself a bit of space and use Mage hand from a distance having it use your thieves tools on the lock mechanism. You’re a bit disappointed to discover that it wasn’t locked at all. Opening the chest remotely you hold your breath hoping that nothing happens. Thankfully nothing does, moving forward to inspect the contents, you find 6 pouches of copper coins, by their weight you estimate them to have around 100 cp each, two pouches of silver coins, that feels to be 55 sp each. Additionally you find two potions very similar to the one you found outside near the cavern entrance (potions of healing), lastly you see a jade statuette of a frog that has tiny golden orbs for eyes. The frog statuette is small enough to fit in a pocket or pouch and you figure it will fetch a good price, should you find somewhere to sell it.
"Pathetic!" commented Gert out loud. Not that he saw many treasure chests in his life (nor was he a thief to size the treasure properly) but ... really? What did they do with everything they looted from travelers? "You know, we can sell that statuette, of course, but I would keep it as a group's good luck charm. On the other hand, it is unlikely we can sell for for the time we are a group."
"Now," Gert turned back to goblins, and slowly wiped the blood from his dagger, "where are the prisoners?"
The goblins noticing Gert cleaning blood off his dagger from the goblins near the entrance, quickly exchange glances, then blurt our nearly simultaneously, “They’re in the eatings room. Across the bridge.” And edge further away from you, hoping to be spared a fate similar to Klarg. They’ve of course noticed Hugs riding on a wolf, but don’t have the courage to say anything.
Cadence skips along behind him, unwittingly dispelling the determined demeanour he’s developing. She gives a little wave to the goblins as she skips past them, stifling a silly smile and singing softly.

Velda ties the goblin's hands behind their backs, and then forces them to run across the bridge before her, on two leashes. She wants to make sure that if there are any traps, the little buggers will trigger them first. And perhaps, whoever was there torturing others might hesitate if they believed their fellow beings to have been taken hostage.
